  1. Fairly sure Reekie that Theo gave an interview saying it was a mistake going to rangers. At the time it was well rumoured that rangers were after him, every season it seemed to come up. Gutted he went to rangers but still a legend.
  2. The Alamo is certainly one way of showing your bird a Scottish atmosphere
  3. On the park not fussed, would fancy us to take care of both, famous last words. Off it, Raith have got rid of the stand at the side in terms of being open so only one stand behind the goals, would be a tricky one tickets wise. Presumably if demand required it we would get two stands at Airdrie therefore more tickets and think a few less folk would fancy it. That said can see Airdrie being more entertaining off it so looking forward to finding out who it is.
  4. Most fans will be looking at it from the viewpoint that previous signings were the ilk of Dave Bus and now we're going for Darren Barr, I think that's good PR regardless of the ins and outs of the actual deal.
  5. In the late 80's Snelders was incredible and throughout that season when we won the Scots Cup he was fantastic culminating in that save in the final. I think he was at his peak those first 2 years.
  6. I'd take him as a world class chip shop owner, there's defo a market for one in Aberdeen
  7. I'm not sure i'd want Hamilton based on this game so far
  8. True but Theo was also at his brilliant best in the 80's leading up to peaking you could say in the 90 cup final. Leighton also had some great performances in the 90's. I voted for Theo too i'm just playing devil's advocat if thats the right expression.
  9. Think May's point is the clubs are talking about his players in the press and it lacks class, so instead of rising above it he's joining them, I think he's also right in the sense that there is an aspect of the story being released to give in certainly AFC case a bit of positive PR.
  10. Surely the cup should be about winning rather than hoping for good piss ups/locality/novelty factor.
  11. Defo Theo for me, though Leighton and Kjaer are surely worth discussion, great keepers in their own right.
  12. Good shout, I think Paton has already proved he has the dedication to come back a better player, be interesting to see who'd take Maguire and how up for it he's going to be.
  13. I'd be fairly happy with anyone outwith the old firm at home.
  14. Maguire has to leave, whether that be on loan or transfer i'm not fussed. There's no doubt he's got potential in there somewhere I just don't think he has any desire whatsoever to fulfill it.

Really good performance overall I thought, we deserved the win thoroughly. As has been said above Hearts were actually shocking, would be pretty pissed off if I was a Hearts fan. Pawlett had another great game I thought
  16. Course its bollocks, as is someone bringing up a incident at Kilmarnock 7 years ago, we apologised at the time but that was not enough for some folk, such as Stoney who posts the same crap under various disguises on different forums always restating the same shite he's posted elsewhere, can't fault his consistency, and Tyrant bringing up Killie all these years later, tedious shite. It was a different way of supporting the team from what most would do but not more important than say Granite City/Ullevi Reds setting off for Killie in October with a full bus etc or Capital 1903/Globe Reds setting off for Hamilton at home in March with nothing to play for. It was just our own way of supporting the team but there's no doubt it pissed folk off at times when we probably didn't fully appreciate what effect our actions had and defo we have regrets that it didn't become something bigger aka CU84 (marseille) and FDL (milan) as if you take time to appreciate what those groups brought to albeit bigger clubs with bigger fanbases was truly sensational... but the lads/gals who were members of the ru from 1999-2010 gave everything they had to make match days more colourful/atmospheric because we love the team just the same as Tyrant/Stoney/Jute whoever. Just because we were open about being proud of where we were from (ie the red ultras) doesn't mean we thought we were more important than anyone else. Always standing free
  17. Think a few folk think he's a lot better at CB than RB but versatility is always good to have.
  18. Is that on EE site, be interested to see what basis he has for it, I don't know if he's right or not.
  19. Seem to be dragging this one out, you'd think they'd be in a hurry the way Houston is going about his job.
  20. Read a paper this morning, think it was the daily rangers, it said terms have been agreed with the players agent and the club, however McGhee is wanting to speak to the player directly as the player wants a perm move rather than loan deal.
  21. MacLean personal terms have all been agreed its just a case of the player actually wanting to come here. Surprised we never went back in for the defender who was here pre season, what was his name again?
  22. Do clubs seriously have 3rd choice captains? Is there a 4th choice? For me Foster has Ally has correctly pointed out is a limited footballer but one that is playing out of his skin this year, which is great..... But how does that make him captain material? I'm not saying we have a team of or infact even one Willie Miller out there in the current squad but Ricky Foster for captain? Crikey.
