Why can shinnie not pass a ball that isn't three feet behind the runner

We look totally sterile. Moving the ball but gaining nothing. Two passes forward then a twenty yard pass back.

I'm not that bothered if he goes, tidy feet but lacks influence on games for me.

Yes he'll put the boot in and argue with the ref but he's not a leader on the field. He can't make the team go up a gear when needed. He has the acceptance of going through the motions engrained over the past few seasons and for me a new broom is needed. Didn't mean he's our worst player by any stretch but the psyche of the team has to be altered and he's fundamentally part of the habit.

Ib think Jimmy has to remove shinnie if he wants to change the attitude. He's been there as skipper under too many failures. He sets the tone.

We seem to play backwards a lot. Hoping a big diagonal comes off. Constantly putting ourselves under pressure. That's on Jimmy, surely tactical and it hasn't worked for some time.

I genuinely think Polvara could be a good centre half. He has height, pace and composure. As little as we've seen of him there, he takes away the threat over the top with his reading if the game and pace.

Garbage again. Strong start then lost belief. Tobers looked ok, mcgarry put in a shift. Otherwise we were bang average. Doohan makes two fantastic saves and deserves to keep his place. Morris deserves more time because nobody else can create a thing. Props to Polvara, did really well again filling in at the back.

Thought Clarkson had been our only composed midfielder. Whilst shinnie continually hooks it blind over his head into the channel hoping a red shirt gets there first. Okkels disappointing so far but we aren't building it well. Back to my earlier shinnie comment. By the time he turns the ball to the wide areas is cut off. We're then firing it back to a CB or full back and launching it 40yds for a 50/50

I know I'm never his biggest fan but is shinnie ever going to open his body to receive the ball? First touch is always backwards to let him turn around. Plays like a full back funnily enough

Thought Polvara did really well at CB. Also thought Clarkson did well and seems to be hitting form. Maybe we should be playing around him.

All the optimism is gone. We seem to have a squad who only play under a new manager bounce then collapse. Time our captain was replaced by someone with drive he's overseen multiple disasters now and is clearly unable to turn a team around. McGrath is quite comfortable playing at the bottom of the league ( he's used to it) and that's his level. Nice touches, little effect on a game. Flatters to deceive. Those being two of our middle three, is it any surprise were seeing mediocrity and not dominating? Keskinen is a headless chicken, I'd be gutted sitting on a bench watching him run into people. All round disappointing again. Mentally fragile team and despite the miracle start, Jimmy will come under pressure soon if any January changes don't improve form.

United deserved that. We're toothless and we have a weak streak through this team. Imagine losing to Goodwin. Jimmy has a big few weeks. Can he be ruthless and add backbone to this squad because that's what's missing
