have I missed McGhee's managerial highlights or have they still to materialise????? Exactly, keep the monkeys happy employ an ex hero. Get in someone that's won something in their career please, or at least come close
-
only one to win a league campaign at any level ?? and a decent level at that. Excluding Fergie jnr that's just no gonnae happen
-
some fife accent for a weegie ken

did a bit of Newell research, won championship 1 with 98 points at Luton, year after going into administration ( works on a shoestring ) Then removed after criticising chairman ( not sacked for being crap ) Questioned corruption in transfers ( honest ) Abused female officials with sexist comments ( needs a babysitter for the press ) Has turned grimsby town round Has always had a shit haircut Wasn't much of a striker for us pretty much all you need to decide if he's a decent candidate. 2 player dream team mentioned worries me I don't know of 2 former dons ( we can afford ) that I'd have confidence in
-
Why not Newell?? Does TF know something I don't? Supposedly did superb job at Luton ( flowing football with some degree of success ) and my understanding was that he blew the whistle on iffy dealings. Not saying it should be him, but to my mind a suitable option
-
is he saying board were wrong, cross him off the list, just talked himself outta a job
-
I'd take Cregg, Barr and Arfield though.
-
from the above, Rioch for me, though if Yogi lifts a cup this week he will be the boards golden appointment I think. Love his football and if he's won something I can see AFC jumping on his short success

Fuck it lets have souness, let bye gones be bye gones. Also really piss off the current buns

would all go downhill I'm afraid

Severin offers to stay for more cash, piss right off
redordead replied to redordead's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
have to admit, I was delighted when we nicked pele under UTD noses, what a fu*&^ng mistake that was, so maybe I'll stop having ideas about new managers. Paterson -
eternally linked to scottish jobs, but does he really exist? Has anyone actually ever seen him? What has he done for the last 10 yrs or so? I want a former premiership manager to inspire our , it's ok to be slightly better than the shit, but don't even think we can win the league filled squad. Vialli would be nice, won a few things, not likely to need a jo though. Still like Graham if capable physically or if he has spent his cash what about Ince. premiership above him but did great in lower league which is nearer our level to be fair. would all change the mindset from just happy to compete for crumbs

if I didn't perform at work, I'd get sweet FA and have to move house. If I've done well I'd expect a good bonus. DEPENDS WHICH OF THESE 2 GROUPS YOU PUT SEVE IN. If I was his boss, ta ta bonus -

good player, yes very rarely though, king of the 30 yd hump for miller -
Just read on teletext that Seve has said he may stay at Aberdeen if the club were to improve their offer. This smells to me like Burnley are now too good for him and naebody else thinks he's worth a f&*k. If he gets more I'll be truly scunnered with our club for allowing this clown to play 2 games and think he's Pele unbelievable arrogance, nice to see the suitors he expected have seen the usual severin and not the one that turns up now and again Could use his wage to pay a couple of hungrier players that'd respect the club and be grateful to play at Pittodrie
-
Bruce Rioch, knows how to beat the East end unwashed and out of a job. Being sacked in denmark though can never be a good thing A superb appointment would be Steve Coppell, just left his club to do a bit of travelling. Aberdeen's a fair distance from his place is that enough travelling
-
Is George Graham in an old folks home yet, done piss all since spurs. We could offer him a chance of redemption. very much a no nonsense, 1st place or no place type. would be absoloutely ideal. May have to work on his pretty football. 1-0 to the aberdeen does have a ring to it though and as we are skint he can't do any unusual dealings ( allegedly of course )

or me, weekend money would be handy in the boozer
-
Deano Windass, that would be heaven. No question of poor attitude from a squad under his supervision.

Dons Managment Team Moves On - Official
redordead replied to TheGaffer's topic in Aberdeen Football Club
I am sad to see a likeable guy go, but as above standard has been dire for a long while except couple of euro performances. Never seemed able to have a real go at lesser opponents and thet has to lie with the manager. Also loving the use of " bandwaggoners ". Spot on description. I want to see my team attack week in and week out with ball on deck, when did we last see that? Too many happy to plod along in mediocrity for fear of failure. p.s seen Wolfsburg won bundesleague, this is what we should aspire to become, bayern etc couldn't stop them so less of the money pish -
why wasn't he handing miller them then??
-
think it was blackpool. Players also released recently include, Tommy Miller Ipswich ( maybe ££££ ), Jamie McCunnie hartlepool ( how did he get so far down the footballing order ) Graham Murty ( another vogts man ) and Darren Huckerby Norwich ( again£££ and possibly too old ) If Mccunnie is fit we could do with reliable fullbacks, think Murty is 96 so'd try McCunnie first. Leroy Lita also released by reading would be superb foil for Miller, sadly $$$$$$$$$$$$ in wages
-
did I read somewhere that Keigan Parker had been released?? Used to be a player worth having. REmember a door kicking incident but that aside is he still any good?
-
our current "strikers" have managed less in a season than he has in the last couple of months. miller excluded. For a shitey outfit like killie. Also likes a good punch up so'd slot right into the dressing room
-
Miller would definately put a bit of urgency into the midfield, not sure we could pay what he'd ask though. Why can't we steal Kyle from Killie?? He'd get us 20 goals and do Miller's job too.
