  1. It's a bit like us at the minute. Totally uninspiring.
  2. For once finding myself agreeing with BB. Great times, great player and great goal. Will we ever see another like him?
  3. I've said since day one that the club relented ti fan pressure to get rid of a Manager who had taken us in to Europe twice in the last three seasons, but alas as a support, we overlook the fucking obvious and still hark back to the glory days of the 80's in the real belief we'll be returned to our rightful place in the top three of our league. We've now had two ex players as Managers and neither have done a thing to have us either playing attractive football or challenging for at least a trophy, indeed one of them (a club legend no less) continues to accept a fee which relates to a players salary for doing 5/8ths of fuck all. Scottish football is in a mess, we're in a mess and without the necessary funds for strengthening the side, need a Manager who can polish a turd and get the best out of as bad a bunch of players as I've seen in my near 50 years of supporting the club. Not sure who it is, but it sure isn't McGhee. As for potential replacements for captains, give it to Deek Young - the only player who appears to give a jot.
  4. Won't be sad to see any of them go. Kerr is perhaps the worst captain (sic) we've ever had and was spineless throughout the season. Enjoy the 1st division boys.
  5. Seems that we may be getting another new shirt next year. According to the 'all new' Dons Shoppie, the current home short is now £20. Let's ditch the daft stripes eh chaps.
  6. If it's anything like it is here in Dunblane, it'll be aff!
  7. Yeah, but so did we last season and fucked up against the Pars
  8. Still showing as being on in the Sky News round up. If it is, what are the chances that Maclean plays? Good source says the deal is done.
  9. Let's just get Barr and McLean and keep Paton at Pittodrie. If Lee Miller is on his way that's fair enough, so let's take the cash and spend it to keep Mulgrew.
  10. From todays online Hun. Surely not? HIBS are on the verge of sealing a stunning return north for ex-Aberdeen and Scotland star Russell Anderson. SunSport can reveal that talks are at an advanced stage to clinch a free transfer move for the frozen out Sunderland stopper in time for the transfer window opening on Friday and Sunday's derby against Hearts. It's believed the Black Cats are happy to give him a pay-off for the remainder of his contract, which ends in June. Other clubs are keen, including the Dons and St Johnstone. But Ando, 31, is understood to prefer Hibs as he looks to bounce back from an injury-hit spell.
  11. And from todays Hun along with news that Anderson is to sign for Hibs in January (despite as they also quote interest from the Dons) comes this: MARK McGHEE will make another attempt to sign Paul Obiefule - with the Nigerian international insisting he is still a free agent. The midfielder has made two previous trips to Aberdeen in an effort to win a move to the SPL from Lyn Oslo. That seemed doomed to failure when Norwegian side HBK Honefoss claimed to have signed the player on a three-year deal before Christmas. However, boss McGhee has rekindled his interest in the 23-year-old after being reassured he is still available. He said: "I spoke to Obiefule's brother, who acts as his agent, and he insists he hasn't signed for anyone else. "A Norwegian club has made him an offer, but we are keen to take him. "We are now attempting to get him over on trial so we can have a look at him in training. "He was injured last time he was here and unable to do anything. "I liked the look of him in the DVDs we have of him in action and I've also received good reports from contacts in Norway. "He is a quality player and looks as if he is more than capable of holding down a regular place in our team. "However, I don't want to make a commitment and then discover it might take three months before he is match fit." On his way to Plymouth then....
  12. He's got his eye on the ball though......
  13. HIVS a little stronger than the Dons with better attacking options. Problem for them is a little like ourselves - the weight of expectancy from the home crowd. Stick on draw.
  14. straight to bargain basement with the rest of the hunographies
  15. More impressed since hearing him interviewed on the BBBC this week. He's keen to impress, so let's get right behind him and the others today.
  16. "We are playing a system that suits the players but we didn't do well enough. "It's the same group that will go to Ibrox and we will have to defend better, but it's going to be a longer process than simply fixing it before Saturday." Mark McGhee post Dundee debacle. No shit Sherlock.
  17. He's a decent enough player generally who seems to be weighed down with the responsibility of being captain. Best bet is to strip him of the captaincy and hand the armband to Zander when he's fit.
  18. Sone, like a number of others are JC's buys and are still smarting at him being let go. Is he bigger than our club? Is he fuck. He only performs in big games against the old firm (for which we are thankful), but that's not enough. Sorry all Sone fans. He'll be a helluva player somewhere else, so let's take the money and make a profit. For all the JMG fans. Don't say you weren't warned....
  19. Aye, he's sometimes missing too. :rofl2: :rofl2:
  20. Can somebody clever out there start a poll on whether we should accept the money were Wiggy and Bad Hair Day to come to some financial agreement whereby SMG build his clubhouse, houses et all and he invests in the Dandies. Ta!
  21. He's just not good enough to lead the club. A rare enough player on his day, but a leader of men - I think not.
  22. No, No, No. Mo Camara is utter shite and not at all what we should be thinking about If we get rid of Chung, surely there must be a better alternative. We'd be better off with swapping him for a good first division player of better ability (we should really have signed Harkins when he was on offer at £100,000) who would relish SPL life at the Dons rather than than a player of Camara's age and limited talented. FS, he's not even fit
