Theory? TBH i don't have one, i've no idea what happens behind the scenes at the club, and because of that for me to start issuing blame would be ridiculous. Most of the problems lie away from the club IMO. when you have agents looking out for their players best interests (themselves), the media finding stories on the back of fag packets and players themselves thinking that they're the Scottish equivalent of Lionel Messi and as such are deserving of inflated salaries, then your going to struggle to attract/keep players of any quality. In the modern climate there is a distinct lack of loyalty, and when you can triple your wages down south, we're always going to struggle. I must admit, if another company came to me and offered me 3 times my wages to work for them i'd take it. i can't see how you can blame WM for this.

Surely if, as the article says, both players have refused to start negotiotions, there is fuck all WM can do about it. we, as a club, seem to fail to be able to hang on to good players for any length of time. no-one seems to want to stick around after they have seen out their contract, which to me suggests there is a fundamental problem at the club. Surely blaming WM is a little short sighted imo

Mcdonald can GTF Miller.......well i'd like him to stay personally but thats only as we don't have anyone to replace him with. In saying that i'd actually like to see him get dropped! with any luck MM will get in a couple of replacements either before the summer or on pre-contract and can politely tell them to both ram it! what a lot of mince! in all the time i've played competitive sport one of the first things you do is find a way to wind up your opponent. puts them off their game and helps them lose concentration. I'm quite sure Hegarty will have done this as well, and for him to come across as all hurt and raging is fucking nonsense! yeah, i'm sure when you played you commented on the weather and asked if he'd like to come round for tea and biscuits

i'm sure Fifa waffle on about something called "fair play", although i'm not really sure what that is? something to do with how much money a club has?, maybe the more money in the bank the more Fifa/SFA/SPL will actually try and play fair and use common sense! They must have some money to fairness ratio they use when dealing with things like this
