Just reading the bbc gossip column, as one does, and it says the Brown thinks this kid is the Dennis Bergkamp of Aberdeen. Quite a bold statement if true. Anyone seen him play and could this be true? It reeks a bit like when the evening express had the headline 'The next Rooney' and a picture of Andrew Bagshaw underneath it :-/

I think a lot of talk hopefully is just knee-jerk reactions to the semi. If we had sneaked a win we would all have been saying the team is pretty strong and we could win the cup. League form has been poor recently as well, which could possibly have been because players were trying not to get injured before the hibs game. I am as gutted as the next man with our exit. But there is no way I would ever stop supporting Aberdeen or stop seeing them because of poor form. If our fans stopped going to watch the team because O this, then that makes us no better than the stinking hun fans who do the same, and I always get on tae them for being terrible fans. Let's face it, we ain't in administration, we are still alive and kicking, and we DO have the best fans in Scotland. So let's keep supporting our team and show the rest of the SPL who has the best fans. STAND FUCKING FREE!!

Well in the sun he says his contract talks ending has led to his dip in form. He again states that he hopes Aberdeen offer him a new contract. Whether or not it's factual quotes, the board should push the boat out for a player like him especially with Fyvie saying he wants to leave. I personally don't think he is being greedy as there is no doubt he has been one of our best signings for years. The only surprise is that no one has snapped him up. Pretty much agree we what you have said. Its definitely a work in progress. But maybe the finances at the dons are crippling brown. You would think a manager of his experience would know how important width is in the team. Full backs and midfielders! That has to be addressed. A couple o really good signings has helped his cause. I think the next few months are crunch times for him.
