  1. We are mediocre because the fans demand perfection and won't turn up if we have anything less. How can we reach any sort of heights when we average a crowd of 11k? The fans have to back the club as much as the board do and its no surprise that Milne wont overextend himself if the Aberdeen public refuse to do the same. A winning mentality outside the Old Firm is to achieve 3rd place. Thats our limit as it stands due to the finances that the club have. We arent going to win the league, we aren't going to win the Uefa cup and we aren't going to win the Champions cup. How far does 'ambition' go? This is NOT the 80's anymore and AFC exist in a completely different climate now, a climate that dictates that money is the be all and end all of football. We dont have money, we don't have a fanbase therefore we don't have success. I'll take a season like this over motherwell or hibs seasons because its been a memorable season as a supporter. If you want glory and silverware every year then its time you looked south to Glasgow and started follow following because you wont get that sort of success here, its just not realistic.
  2. Maguire can go anytime he likes, he's got less ability than John Stewart, he's wasting everyones time by not taking up an apprenticeship in plumbing or joinery. Considine is decent but he needs to play alongside someone who is far more experienced than Zander if he's to have any chance of developing. I don't think Zander can cope with cutting out his own mistakes while looking out for Considine at the same time. If we had an old head in the squad like a Weir or a Pressley (not suggesting for a second these are players I want in the squad) then Der Kaiser would have someone to look up to and I think it would benefit him big time.
  3. QotS fans would still have a fair bit of travel to do. Surely they'll change this, its a nonsense.
  4. Nothing to do with proving how good supporters you are. I just prefer to be in the area with the most singing, and its not something you're going to get in the south stand or main stand.
  5. Sounds more like he wants to know whether or not we'll be getting cash from a top 6 finish and a possible cup final before making solid contract offers.
  6. My point is that if you want any sort of atmosphere at all, you have to be in the RDU. Theres no singing anywhere else in the stadium. I've heard the south stand sing once in the last three or four years. The south stand should be where everyone goes for a sing song, its right on top of the players but as it is just now, its a boring place to be.
  7. There was singing coming from the RDU all game. I sat in the south for a change and despite the better view it had no atmosphere at all. I was thinking about moving from the Dick Donald to the south stand next season but after that I've decided not to. RDU is the place to be. (Unless you're a boring cunto and want to sit in silence for the whole 90 minutes.)
  8. They already have, they need more money on top of that but the SPL wont give them anything till they meet tomorrow and put their case forward.
  9. Theyre attempting to turn it around, meeting with the SPL tomorrow but they have no insurance for players on saturday so most wont play.
  10. Games off, watching the press conference just now.
  11. Indeed! Happy Birthday Zander!
  12. I think I'll be having a party to celebrate her shuffling off this mortal coil. Evil old tory bitch.
  13. Singing their songs of hate no doubt.
  14. You say that, but are you really? Are you?
  15. Conspiracy theorys about refs are nonsense, every supporter of every club seems to think the refs are against them.
  16. Just saw the equaliser on the news. Soutar dived about two hours after the ball hit the back of the net.
