  1. Im probably going to miss the game against the huns because i finish work at 12 and wont make it out from inverurie in 30mins
  2. Wasn't the best but wasnt the worst ive seen them play this season(Falkirk away). Good play by Kerr for the opener - was right in front of me so i got to marvel at the nutmeg. Personally it feels weird having the confident feeling that we will get a win again when we play at home and thats just after 2 wins on the boune at home.
  3. If anyone cares this is from the SPL website: "Aberdeen's home game with Celtic has been moved to Sunday January 18 at 2pm and the following weekend's Pittodrie clash with Rangers will also be shown live. Details of that fixture will be confirmed after the League Cup semi-final draw on Wednesday."
  4. The game was on BBC alba earlier at 8. Only listened to and watched the 2nd half but had to agree with the radio commentators we did dominate the half. Sandazas miss to make it 3-1 made me laugh
  5. Aberdeen consider move for Windass By Charlie Allan Published: 07/11/2008 OPTIONS OPEN: Hull City's Dean Windass. More Pictures ABERDEEN are considering making a January move for Hull City hitman Dean Windass. Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood today refused to rule out the possibility of former Pittodrie hero Windass returning north. Windass has made just three appearances for Hull in the Premier League this season and is expected to be made available for a loan deal when the transfer window reopens. The 39-year-old admitted in his column in the Evening Express that he would be delighted if the Dons came in for him. Calderwood hinted that could happen. “You have to consider every option,†he said. “We know about Dean’s situation – and have done so for the last three weeks. “It would be wrong to say to Dons fans at this stage that we will definitely sign Dean. “We have a lot of things to consider, like how long Tommy Wright is going to be out injured. “It’s also a few weeks before the transfer window opens again, so you never know what sort of options might be put in front of us. “But I know Dean is a big hero with a lot of Aberdeen fans and they would be delighted if he came back. “I also like the lad. I spoke to him in the summer, when Dean wanted Aberdeen to provide the opposition for his testimonial match. “We were already committed to going to Holland, so I was disappointed we had to turn that offer down. “I also spoke to Dean’s wife before that and she made it clear she would love it if he came back up to Scotland. “I certainly wouldn’t discard the chances of that happening at this stage.†Windass is more likely to become an option if the Achilles tendon injury which has ruled Wright out of tomorrow’s SPL clash with Dundee United at Tannadice is slow to heal. Calderwood said: “We’ve been told Tommy should be back within three weeks, but you can never be sure with that type of injury.†Midfielder Stuart Duff is definitely out until the New Year. Later editions of yesterday’s Evening Express reported Duff is to have surgery to the knee injury which has plagued him since the summer. Duff offered to delay the operation until the summer and continue to take pain killers to ensure he could play every week. Calderwood said: “All credit to Stuart for offering to do that, but it was clear it would be best to get the problem sorted now.†Jamie Smith (calf strain) and reserve keeper Bertrand Bossu (leg injury) will also miss the trip to Tannadice.
  6. Im quietly confident of getting a good result against the feeder club. Its about time we actually get a result down there
  7. In or Oot: In Pre-matcher:Driving in straight after work Location:Lower RDS Half-timer: A read of the program Post-matcher:Somewhere at somepoint that night
  8. Near the end when Aluko passed the ball to Seve did he slice it and was just lucky to fall to Seve or was it a beautiful peice of skill? I still cant decide if he meant it or not
  9. That seemed to be the only abuse he got throughout the game. Lovell was getting a mixed reception from us when his name was being read out on the teamsheet. I was sitting near the top od the middle block of fans and some of the left side applauded him and some of the right side booed him
  10. Aluko as we seemed to attack more when he came on and his holding the ball up near the end was good
  11. i think we are away that weekend to Hearts so might pop along to see the locos game
  12. I thought there should of been a pen for a foul on Mackie in that. Mackie's chance at the end was unfortunate, if the ball spun the other way it would of went in i think. When theres the screenshot of the fans when we equalised im in it
  13. Just back from it. First away game and it was a really good game. Jimmy can keep his job for another week. I was expecting us to defend the whole time but we attacked quite a bit. Mulgrew's freekick was brilliant. Mair had a solid game i thought. Justified the fact he shouldn't of been dropped when Seve and Diamond came back from injury. Foster had another game in which he wasnt shite. Personally thought he linked well with Mulgrew when he came on for Seve. Duff seemed ok too. The Tim i went down with said they didnt deserve all 3 points and i couldn't of agreed more with him. Loved the fact we outsung(dont know if thats a word) them for 3/4 of the game.
  14. Wasnt at the game but by the sound of Red TV McDonald was our best player last night so thats why i voted for him
  15. its taken me a long time to think this but im thinking its time for JC to go
  16. For me it was between Seve and Foster. Seve did another good job at CB but would like to see Mair go back into that position and for Seve to go back into Midfield to replace McDonald. Went for Foster as it was his best game so far this season. Hopefully he gets a bit of confidence now and performs even better and more consistently
  17. What was Wright playing at for the pen Thankfully its an away game next so shouldnt be too bad
