  1. We really should revert to GSTQ as the national football anthem. It would be total hypocrisy to continue to use Flower Of Scotland because the referendum confirmed that Scotland is a nation of visionless fucking cowards.
  2. That link gives a story with this quote: “We should be accommodating our European representatives a bit more. Celtic played last night and they have to play at lunchtime on Saturday. I don’t think that’s fair. It puts a bit of an advantage our way.” How many of Celtic's home games are on TV at lunchtime on Saturdays? Answer: NONE. The whole thing is based on them getting 3pm KOs for ALL their home games, and us having to take the hit on lunchtime KOs to satisfy graveyard shifts on Sky. THEY then get to sell their own rights. It was the same for both of them when the cunts were still alive in our league. A plague on their house. And the new house too. Cunts.
  3. Sacrifice a potato? They'd peel is surely, so they can get chips later?

I have quite a broad palette which I expanded greatly when working abroad. A night out wouldn't be complete without a bag of grasshoppers and some chicken c*nts somewhere along the way. I drew the line at bugs with 'soft parts' when being consumed but that was about all. Pork ears, chicken hearts, all sorts, not a problem, chicken heads, feet, all manner of offal etc... Loved every minute of that stuff. But liver, kidney and sweetbreads make me f'kn barf and its specifically the texture.
  5. Tongue in cheek. But only just. And Fergie was not a tink. Tinkery is all about attitude, not origin, just like hunnery.
  6. Paton and Diamond should be fired by the club on principle. Its like Angus Deyton on HIGNFY - once he got busted for coke and prozzies his position was untenable given the nature of the show he hosted. It would have been hypocritical for him to have stayed and its the same with us. AFC has to be tink free - and be seen to be tink free. Any tinks that have slipped in under the radar should be dumped. That means Maguire has to go too 'cos hes a right tink.
  7. To be fair to Darren, I remember that Euro run we had, after he scored in Dnipro to get us through he then got injured and everyone was hoping he'd be fit ASAP to get back in the team. Thats a pretty factual memory - he was really valued at that time. Who knows, maybe Craigie Brown can make a player of him yet..... Nae holding my breath like.
  8. Exactly. Once again the confusion that led to the goal is caused by Diamond screwing up and being caught out of position. They played the ball forward to where Diamond should arguably have been and inexperience and indecision gave away the game. In my opinion the next step in purging the nightmare of last season is to dump Diamond. No coincidence to me that we went over the cliff last new year when he came back. Not the main culprit to last seasons hell but another peice of the purge that has to be continued.
  9. Would this indicate Miller is gone? Still no word if thats definite.
  10. The thing about McLeish leaving is very true. But my memory is that Irvine really slumped when AM jumped ship to Motherwell which was a bolt out of the blue. We suddenly realised who was holding Irvines hand. Theo also started flapping when the huns took Beano. If memory serves Miller made some major surgery in that close season - Jazzer, Connor out, Ray McKinnon came in etc.. and THEN McLeish suddenly departed. That was one of the most destabalising things that led to the sacking of Willie IMHO.
  11. Sods Law - all this morbidity will russel us up a win!!! Hoo Ha!
  12. Well, thats that fucked. http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/spl/rangers/walter-smith-tracks-american-internationalist-stuart-holden-1.933367
  13. My one and only ever visit to the hunnery was the last time we won!!
  14. Never worked better than when it was a ten team league. As long as you didn't get relegated like. Are we beyond that now? I think so.
  15. Cripes, I meant Uts. I was a bit pissed and on Xanax. When the dream occurred like.
  16. Mini mate, Hibs are now second in my dream. Bobby, thats the point - why were those players so far advanced from the Playstation generation we have now? Oh, aye, Playstation. To reitterate - I am only dreaming, not making hugely valid points here.
  17. I'm nae good at maths but I thought Utd won to go a point ahead of Hearts??? It was a dream after all !!!!
  18. Nah, keep the three points for a win. Also to reply to BobbyB, I seem to remember a huge and vibrant rivalry with Utd when the OF weren't the main players, if only for a couple of years. The point I was making is that once they go we will find our excitement, no problem. Maybe its time we relied on crowds and not on TV. True the European places might fade, but here's another thought - Why are Scottish footballers so crap? Or are they? The whole '80s 'golden generation' didn't come from money, they were just good. I know my thoughts are halcyon but there you go. I would rather be smaller and successful rather than also rans like now. How we do that is only in dreams, but no OF is a dream I would love to see reality.
  19. I picture a scene - a bright, crisp April afternoon. The Diet huns have filled their end at 'todders, after all they are only one point off the lead, behind Aberdeen. Tickets are like gold, sold out a week or two earlier, the last being sold after the single voucher requirement is lifted. A full house sees the mighty Dons take a three point lead at the top of the table, after all, in another sell out Utd beat Hibs to move a point clear of Hearts. Game on. Next weeks trip to Tannadichie is sold out, if we lose Utd join us at the top. Meanwhile Dundee pull off a shock at New McDairmid to go tie in third. 'Cos everyone is still in with a shout of the league all games sold out. Meanwhile Rangers and Celtic are battling out the English Premiership but nobody is watching because Match Of The Day concentrated on Man U v Chelsea and Arsenal V Spurs. The OF put in a complaint that the EPL is too 'London-centric'. Aberdeen win the league in front of a full house, could have gone four ways on the last day and we have to watch the highlights on BBC Sportscene and Scotsport on Sunday afternoon, after a wee bit of curling from Perth Ice Rink. I can live with that.
  20. Jim Hamilton...shudder... I suppose he would be if he fekkin tried once in a while.
  21. Lee Miller is a fucking oxygen thief.
