  1. That remains to be seen. http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/9974947/chelsea-closing-in-on-1634m-deal-to-sign-reading-defender-michael-hector He may yet go on to do just that.
  2. The short story why I would like to see play more is that I think I he's got a bit of guile about him. Some chat on pie and bovril about Irvine and O'Halloran. It's probably bollocks but 150k for Irvine (which would be about the remainder of his contract) and a similar fee plus goodwillie for O'Halloran after the semis is what's being said.
  3. Seems about time that the boy has a thread of his own. He's definitely impressed in the past few games and certainly hasn't looked phased in the slightest. Not only that the partnership with Maclean looks very promising also, arguably the most effective cm duo of the campaign so far. Apparently DM was saying on the radio that he expects a new player in before the next game. If so it's pretty likely it's going to be a cm and I'm hoping it's Irvine from county as part of the Quinn deal. If so it would leave a big decision for DM going into Celtic game. Continue with the inexperienced though currently performing Storie and MacLean or change it up by bringing in the new guy.
  4. I see Irvine was supposed to be on the bench again today but had to start due to Martin Wood picking up an injury in the warm up. If Quinn is going to county I would not be surprised to see Irvine sign for us.
  5. Points of note for me were as follows. Brown looks far more relaxed in goals than he did at any punt last season, marshall's influence perhaps. The myth that MacLean is wasted as a cm has surely been dispelled. It's just not working with goodwillie, Smith looked far more dangerous in ten minutes of play. Celtic will not like playing on that pitch
  6. Tough game this one, really tough. Dundee are coming in good form and our defence is looking pretty shaky... out, fucking friday fixtures. home watch it might go to the pub score draw seems most likely
  7. Or maybe not
  8. You knows it al. Great resolve today from the team today and credit to brown who did pretty well I thought. Storie was impressive, I think he gave the ball away once which bodes well.
  9. I'm take that
  10. Grat double save by Brown
  11. Great fightback. Really impressed with storie so far, looks a really tidy player.
  12. Jesus wept
  13. Started well but staying to go to shit now. Stonewaller for county
  14. Interesting that Irvine has been dropped by county, I wonder if that had anything to do with the Quinn transfer.
  15. I hope is 442 and not Rooney being put out wide....
  16. But be could have managed Liverpool

  18. Sounds a bit like Jack from last season
  19. Archibald threatening to walk if he's sold says a lot about him if you ask me manc
  20. Collin seems to be well thought of by rotherham fans going by their forums but then again so was Scott Brown. At least the position is filled I suppose, interesting to see if he starts on Sunday. I'm pleased to see us being linked with a cm though don't know much about lad from thistle.
  21. I'm not having a pop at anyone but I really don't get the Quinn love in, he's no better than Taylor in my eyes.
  22. I would
  23. Decent source but he's not infallible. He also tweeted similar about Jamie Ness if memory serves. Boyce would certainly add a new dimension to the attack and would likely be far more effective than DG when played up top with Rooney. First time I saw him was the 4-0 against county at the end of last season. He looked pretty poor that day but he also didnt look very fit. In more recent meetings he's looked better and was a menace when we played them last. The way I see it to varying degree's we need a striker, CM, RB, CB and GK but I really can't see us signing 5 players in the window. 3 tops which is going to leave us short.

Still not seen it yet so thanks for the spoiler alerts Probably won't get a chance till monday now.
  25. I would say it leaves us short, particularly at RB. Boyce would also be quite an interesting proposition though I would be very surprised at county letting him go so easily. I would rather Jackson Irvine.
