  1. You would think that Cormack would be willing to say how much would be needed to build the stadium Surely if they want access to Government funding, then the taxpayers should get to know what they are looking for funding wise, as it's not exactly loose change down the back of the sofa figures required. They will know values required to build this and it should be made public as with all details of exactly what they want. After all AFC are the ones wanting to politicize the debate. I do sympathize with Dave in one respect. Dealing with Christian Allard. The guy shouldn't be anywhere near leading a City Council.
  2. I think it's the same folk doing the report, that provide the huns with the valuations of their best players. Remember Morelos was around £25 Million and not long ago Butland was £30 million and plenty other examples.
  3. I saw a comedy show at the Music Hall called W@nkernomics, which was all about modern business speak and the absurdity of it. I'm sure some on here will be aware of the sort of terminology. Our 'True North' and 'Value Driven Purpose' amongst many types of shyte jargon we are subjected to on a daily basis that absolutely nobody knowing what it means. You can tell comedy Dave buys into it all big time. Just reading his comments in the P&J after this mornings meeting.
  4. Daft Punk - Da Funk
  5. Lobban is twenty now. I don't really think he needs taking out of the team at the moment. More than holding his own and looks like he thrives on it. Topi needed taken out of the team for a few games and a few games on the bench seems to have made a difference and should have happened sooner. We should always be giving our own kids a chance and they should be the real project players. We know most will fall by the wayside and others will be tempted south by the money, but If we can offer a clear path to the first team, it should help stop them heading off elsewhere. I can't help but think Lobbans fortune has been down to poor recruitment and results I find it mirrors the season McKenna broke through, which wasn't part of the plan at that point. Poor recruitment and results forced McInnes into a change I don't think would have happened otherwise. We don't have any other of our own youngsters sniffing around the first team, bar Marshall down at Arbroath, but we do have a lot of average looking players blocking the way of other Dylan Lobbans making the breakthrough.
  6. The main story on the Press and Journal site. Final offer to the Council being made today and full of the sort of shyte you would expect from a man who has been brainwashed with the American way. Will he get Trump involved if the council don't back his vision? He is going to go into full meltdown mode if he doesn't get his way. A new Stadium at the beach, really isn't going to help our economy much as it enters a period of rapid decline. The type of jobs they would look to create un the development, would be low waged, unskilled retail/hospitality work. It's a bit like the shyte about how much jobs the golf course at Balmedie would create and they never materialised either. Yes we need a new stadium and I am fairly sure the Council want it too, but the whole politicising of it leaves a very sour taste in my mouth. These talks should have happened about 20 years ago, when the Council were likely to have started looking at the initial beach development plans. They would have likely been able to get access the funding that very rich Dave Cormack and his Billionaire co owners would like access too. As despite it bringing jobs and prosperity to Aberdeen, they aren't quite able to justify putting their own money into this.
  7. Fair play Sir. I was back home at 10:15 and was their to the final whistle. If I stayed outwith Aberdeen I just wouldn't go, as I hate travelling, despise it. I'm lucky that I can walk to Pittodrie, but always doff my cap to folk like your good self and the many others, who put the effort in to go and watch us all over.
  8. Yes, I do wonder if he dispairs at the quality around him and tries to do too much, but that's the level he is at. He does have that kid at school quality, of thinking he can play in every position on the pitch and won't pass the ball, because nobody deserves it. I thought he was going to be a great signing and although a good technical player, I do wonder if we'd be better off sending him back next month.
  9. Thought the referee and linesmen were honking last night. Strange calls made all game. I've been an advocate of taking foreign refs into Scotland fitba, but not quite so sure now. Maybe Strasbourg are just French Huns right enough and the refs acted accordingly.
  10. I thought Karlsson worked hard, but you could see he was closed down every time he had the ball. Same with Lazetic. With Karlsson, a simple pass from him would likely make a difference, but I suspect he will never change that side of his game and why we have him on loan.
  11. The Who - Who Are You
  12. Proper fitba Play like we did last night and we win no problem. A big ask having Armstrong play again Sunday, as he is struggling with two games a week, but I suspect he will. I suspect not much line up changes from last night. In South Stand Home Home 3-1 Lazetic, Lobban & Nisbet
  13. Clatty bastard behind me had his false plate out sand giving it a good lick. Then then guy next to me did the same in the second half.
  14. Just back. We played well enough and you could see the quality, in spells, from the opposition and that was the difference in the end. When Yengi and Milanovic came on, you knew we'd given up by that point. No injuries and now back to real fitba on Sunday.
  15. So it wasn't confidence I had. Just trapped wind.
  16. Building up now min, although the streets are quiet for a game being on.
  17. I'm away to head off to Pittodrie soon and I am very optimistic about tonights game. The last time I felt this confident about a Dons game, was back on the 24th May. We'll see if this is misplaced confidence or not soon enough.
  18. Bobby Brown - On Our Own
  19. When it does, I have your effigy for burning and the rest of them have the pitchforks at the ready... You'd better hope you can run faster than Sandy Jensen.
  20. Poor loon. He should have got a testimonial off that back of that. A shame it never worked out for him. Looked a real prospect when we first signed him, but had no luck with injuries.
  21. Cheers for that. Three lovely finishes, especially from Cosgrove. Oh for a peak Joe Lewis now. He was immense for about 4 seasons. Best keeper in Scotland during that time.
  22. The zombies play the Hungarian team tonight, who are managed by Robbie Keane and assisted by Stephen Glass. I'm sure they will both be hoping to skelp the zombies. Fingers crossed.
  23. Dave C winna be happy when he reads it. I'm sure he reads the AFC forums. Agree with you. If going back to the old way, can we play everything on Tuesday and Wednesday nights and cut back on the Sunday games. A big bugbear of mine.
  24. Names in songs. The best of 2025. Genius.
  25. Laurie Anderson - O Superman
