With 18 teams I'd have two down, with play off for 3rd bottom versus 3rd top in Division 1. I don't think an 18 team league should only have 1 guaranteed relegation/promotion. I do favour 18 teams though (or 16).

Went along the last time, a couple of months ago, it was a good night.

I've been to that three times, it's a superb night. You get decent pub food and the price of drink is pretty reasonable for London from what I remember. Paul Merton was excellent when I saw him in there. It was mainly people who used to appear on Whose Line Is It Anyway. The whole night normally flies by pretty quickly, manc.
