Finally watched it. Very good and fair play to him for allowing the major op to be filmed. Would have been nice if it had finished on his win against Wawrinka. But what was the point in interviewing Lendl, Mauresmo, Nadal, Federer etc... they were on screen for barely 10 seconds. Odd. Would have loved to have heard more, especially from Lendl.

Well I hate to disagree but if the Tories some how manage to force a hard Brexit or even a no deal down Scotland’s throats, there will be many more voting for independence.

Murray will not win this. He’s done brilliantly and it was so good to see yesterday. But the two female athletes and some cricketer will be in with better shouts. Although Cricket is barely a sport.

If BoJo gets his “Brexit” (I believe it’s a no deal he’s still going for - hence why the ERG are suddenly on board) then it’ll lead to the break up of the Union - Ireland and Scotland definitely, probably Wales. That’s one helluva legacy he’s going to have. Looks like the vote might get dropped as the Letwin amendment will pull the rug from under the cabal’s feat. If the vote does go ahead and it goes through, then it will be a very dark day for Labour. Corbyn is just as complicit in this whole horror show. I think BoJo and Cummings have miscalculated things though as I think Farage will come for them at a GE if this mess is still unresolved.

Interestingly Strachan was seen visiting the new training complex, very late last night... Stayed at the Highland Hotel in town.

He might not be enjoying it but rightly or wrongly I feel he genuinely wants to be part of the new training facilities + stadium.

I can see what BoJo is trying to do with this people vs parliament/establishment thing. I think a significant proportion (presumably leave voters) will buy into it and it will be backed by the Daily Mail and the Sun etc..., but Corbyn (for all his faults) was correct to say the establisment is actually the Tory front bench and many many people realise this, so I think the people vs establishment could backfire (if there is an election soon and BoJo is still PM). I agree Corbyn is hopeless. I think Labour would be miles ahead in the polls if somebody like Starmer was leader. That said I don't think the polls are going to matter a huge amount at the next election as there is going to be a massive push for tactical voting and I think the Tories will be in trouble - and particularly I wouldn't be surprised if BoJo himself loses his seat. I expect the SNP and Lib Dems (in England) to pick up a lot of seats. Quite where Farage fits in I am not sure, surely the Tories will need to do a deal or they will be truly fucked if they have not delivered Brexit (which they won't have) by the election.
