It's not as simple as that though. If two thirds of the league are in a relegation battle then crowds might be less than for matches in a larger league with the prospect of more open games. Less chance of teams parking the bus at Pittodrie in a larger league IMHO.
At the end of the day, there are too many unknowns.

Almost finished Giles Foden's "Last King of Scotland". Been a brilliant read so far. I noted that the film deviates a fair bit from the book, and finished a lot earlier in the story from the book.

With some of the score lines in La Liga this season, it's beginning to look like a silly league again. Yes, the quality is excellent and you normally get great football, but the top of the EPL is putting La Liga to shame at the moment.
