  1. Possible vacancy coming up at Newcastle
  2. Is there any truth in the rumour that the six figure sum for Hart and Clark is £100,002.50 ? and broken down as £100k for Hart and £2.50 for Clark Alternatively might be a BOGOF deal on the pair
  3. Crikey, and to think I thought I was taking a hard line stance here
  4. Some might cynically say his own imaginary reputation
  5. The thing is Calderwood ain't going to leave now however without a new job, as apart from anything else he'll be wanting to hog the media spotlight surrounding our Munich ties and League Cup semi final in the hope of enhancing his reputation
  6. Why let the facts stand in the way of a good argument
  7. Blame the tombola
  8. JC iskey to the whole thing here. If he stays I expect Diamond and definitely Barry Nic to stay. Hart I beleive will go and Clark as I've said elesewhere has to leave Aberdeen. If however Calderwood isn't commiting to a new contract, then we undoubtedly have a major problem facing us, as he shouldn't be given a penny of our limited funds to sign a single player. Having said that, what type of player, other then a desperate one without a deal elsewhere is going to jump ship and come to Pittodrie in the knowledge that they guy that wants to sign him is demonstrating no commitment to the cause himself. Think we're heading into an interesting couple of days at AFC.
  9. Course you are, what the fuck took you so long
  10. Exactly as i've said a number of times, so totally agree with you GS. If you have a chief that doesn't commit, then can you really expect the indians to do so. Calderwood is and remains the key to all of this.
  11. Guess my lack of student education shines through Jim
  12. Rumoured to be £3.5k to £4k per week but never confirmed
  13. Out of curiousity how much is that, since as you're in the know
  14. Preciously my sentiments also
  15. www.thisisaberdeen.co.uk
  16. Don't really think it comes as any great surprise but good news none the less, Aluko's loan spell is being extended to the end of the season. Heading south after tomorrows game to tie up the loose ends
  17. Dons striker Lee Miller insists he is ready to commit his future to the Pittodrie club - provided the deal is right. The 24-year-old is out of contract in the summer, and is free to talk to other clubs. Miller is one of seven Aberdeen players whose contracts expire in the summer, and a string of strong performances will have alerted teams to his availability. Barry Nicholson, Michael Hart, Zander Diamond, Richie Byrne, Steve Lovell and Derek Soutar are all free to leave at the same time as Miller. But the former Falkirk hitman is ready to sign on. He said: "I am out of contract in the summer, and we will need to wait and see what happens with the boys that have been offered deals, and with the gaffer as well. "Jimmy has expressed that he wants to keep me, and we will just need to see what the club can come up with. "Things are going well just now, and the club are going in the right direction, so hopefully we can get things sorted out. "We need to put that to the back of our minds and concentrate on the games we have just now. "If the offer is right I am willing to stay. I have a young family and am getting married in the summer, so hopefully we can get things sorted out."
  18. Chunk tbh there is nothing to report other than that which is alluded to in the front page of this thread
  19. And is keen to stay IF the deal is right, according to the EE. Article not online yet, so unable to copy and paste. why don't we withdraw the offer to Chris Clark and offer his money to Miller instead
  20. Edited: Sharpie, you have a PM.
  21. You're fucking right I did mate.
  22. In fairness exactly what I said also when I saw those two incidents Ajja
