  1. Sure I'm not alone in not having a clue wtf this is about
  2. Don't shoot the messenger
  3. Worse than Richie Byrne? Without a shadow of a doubt
  4. Certainly couldn't fault the boys enthusiasm, but as Slim said certainly doesn't appear to have been the most talented of individuals. Wish the guy no harm at all, and wish him a' the best.... lets face it he'll need it in Dundee
  5. Ah, the power of being able to edit a post
  6. Aye saw that o'er there when I droped in for a look. Post is by first time poster, with no source quoted, so don't really know validity of it mate
  7. its true as in reported on STV.... but i get your point mate
  8. STV teletext reporting Dons on verge on triple signing joy...... Lee Mair as we all know about subject to medical Karim Touzani has verbally accepted a two year deal but not yet put pen to paper and Gary Dempsey set to reject a move to Yeovil and sign on for further period at Pittodrie, but reported elsewhere that he has in fact rejected the Dons offer and is away
  9. Pretty pleased by this piece of news tbh, but to be honest I do worry about his apparent lack of fitness at times. The little he has played that i've seen he looks extremely comfortable on the ball and certainly possesses a footballing brain. Would really like to think that we've yet to see the best of him in a Dons shirt. It does however start to pose questions as to who is on the way out the door in the summer, particularily with the impending capture of Mair from the Arabs. If someone is going from the back line, hope its Zander rather than Cadger or Hart.
  10. Nicholson? Go to 3-5-2, and he is in
  11. Saw this reported on teletext this morning and your thoughts were exactly the same as mine. Would definitely be a useful acquisition to the team. Can't imagine he is on huge wages at Fir Park, as he joined them from Newcastle after all the financial shenanigans at that club.
  12. Showed the goals on STV news........
  13. I think I'd be happy with a point from this one To be honest I'd be ecstatic with a point, realistically we are playing for third place even though second is theoritically possible, how many of us actually believe it will happen. Take a point on Sat and at worst we're still four points clear in third. Then we can still do them after the split
  14. Drewsome..... your contribution on this post during the game is the most blatant example of post whoring and increasing your post count i've seen in many a year
  15. Feckin hope not loon Mind you I've probably just as likely jinxed us by posting about Kris Boyd, not playing or socring for the Huns in the Scotland squad post
  16. Was I the only fucker that paid full price tonight? And I've got a costco card too. If its any consolation I paid full price as well mate.... but then again it is kind of difficult claiming cheap admisssion when you're an auld fucker
  17. It is somewhat ironic that given his overall performance tonight [ and by no means alone in not having the best of nights ] that he should pop up with that in the last minute. Behind the goal you knew it was in the second it left his boot
  18. Certainly has looked a decent enough player whenever I've seen him playing for Saints this season, but maybe, just maybe he is playing at his level. Is he out of contract in the summer, because if not case closed.

Ok folks, I'm BigAl, but nae very tall, jusr bigger than I was when I was young ! I've only ever been known as BigAl on any AFC page, and will never be known as anything else. I've been on this planet for 44 yrs now, and soon to be 45. Although I now stay in Costa Del Ayrshire, I'm originally from Aberdeenshire and very proud of it. For five years ran a boys football club, but retired in the summer of last year. First game at the Pit was v Falkirk in 1972, a 2-2 draw Looking forward to a European adventure in the autumn
  21. He had a spell at the mighty Stockport County in between playing for the two Dundee clubs.
  22. then I'll pick that option
  23. Few Utd fans were on SPL Fever yesterday morning having a laugh about us going to sign another Utd "reject"....
  24. Have to say the initial reaction isn't exactly one of excitement about the prospect of this, but I'll reserve further judgement until it happens. Kind of think we might never see the true Touzani in an AFC shirt
