  1. Apparently both could be back in the squad for Hibs game on 21st April. Personally speaking I wouldn't rush Smith back, as wouldn't rull out the possibility of it all flaring up yet again. Assuming we take no less than seven points from our next three games Europe could be sewn up, and then allow Smith to rest and get full pre season under his belt.
  2. Eh? Brewster has hardly been an injury prone player throughout his career. He got a dislocated shoulder here and said it was the worst injury of his career, so I don't really see him like Scotty Booth. That role goes to Jamie Smith or Lovell with their glass groins. I think he does a good job, holds the ball up well, brings other players into the game and has plenty to offer us next season. As mentioned he's also a good role model and can help with coaching etc too. A win win situation in my eyes. I'll see your Jamie Smith or Steve Lovell, and raise you a Karim Touzani
  3. To be honest with Rae in particular his next move has Championship side written all over it. Not good enough for Premiership, getting on in terms of playing career, and probably looking to bank a few quid over the next three/four years. I reckon someone like Sheff Wed is as good as he's going to get
  4. Reported in the papers this morning that JC is offering Brewster an extension to his playing contract at Pittodrie. There are mixed feelings amongst the Dons support as to his performances to date, so this is bound to stir up some debate amongst us. Personally provided the wage we are to pay him remains at a reasonably sensible level and is not to the detriment of any potential "kitty" for summer signings I'm reasonably ok with it. Without doubt Brewster is a model pro, and surely some of this must rub off on the younger squad members.
  5. Nope Drewsome, Foster is suspended.....
  6. Presume you mean the squads Expect ours to be along the normal lines less Fossy Bear, Hart, J Smith, Barry Nic, and someone called Touzani
  7. Yep I've gone for Hart as well, been outstanding all season, but seens to do it in an almost an un noticed sort of way, if you understand what I mean. anderson has also had a good season, but to be honest as others have said its almost what you've come to expect from him.

Ah our pet Hun returns...... Welcome back Wiggy
  9. Presume thats him til pre season then
  10. If the guy with his finger in the dyke pulls it out and you don't run then you're gonna get your shoes wet. Like the man said, or in laymans terms, Kerr said if McDonald is offski, then he's thinking about bailing out as well
  11. Well so be it then, as others have said not going to shed any tears over this one, decent enough squad player, but trust we can bring in someone of greater ability that actually wants to be here.
  12. Pressley and Weir are already too old but that doesn't stop them getting picked ahead of Russell. Russell needs to sign for the Old Firm to get a game. Simple as that. Sad but true unfortunately mate
  13. Sat in the lower south stand on Sat, just laong from Anderson and the others not included in the squad for the game. To say he didn't look a happy camper is a gross understatement. Hate to say it, but can see one of two things happening here, either Anderson tells McLeish not to include him anymore or alternatively Anderson decides that the time is right for a move, as it appears the only way he is going to actually reach double figures for Scotland caps.
  14. Apparently printed in the Guardian or similar paper doon south
  15. No, not injured, would appear his poor performance last sat against the unwashed gave our nations new leader the perfect excuse to ignore his previous good form and just leave him out completely
  16. Don't think so, seem to remember him pulling off a right few good saves that day.
  17. Bit harsh on Preece. I remember him pulling off a number of very good saves in those games. Could have been worse Unless I'm mistaken the 7-0 at the Tattiebowl resulted in Preece finishing the game with concussion and also getting the MOTM award that day.
  18. Whilst i think some of the criticism directed at Langfield is over the top, I have to admit that i was a big fan of Preece and disappointed that we saw fit to let him go. Don't think there was any doubt that Preece liked being at Pittodrie, after all did he not take a pay cut at one point to stay on
  19. Whilst its unhealthy I'm going to take this one with an extremely large pinch of salt Not doubting the existance of said article in the rag, just the fact that there probably isn't a single shred of truth in it. Do they quote anyone connected with the Huns within the article. Anyway according to the equally fine publication known as the Sunday Mail, I thought Wattie had set his sights upon getting Stillie in from the Arabs
  20. Not for one second did I think that Mikey said the actual quotes attributed to him. He comes across as a quiet unassuming guy, who acts as a model pro, and just gets on with the job. Gutter press journalism... nothing less, nothing more
  21. Preciously See you've sorted your own ratiing Slim to save others doing so
  22. Apart fro "the evil bitch from hell" who's not into football or posting here I don't know?? Ah but she might be incognito on here...... can you be sure ?
  23. You're still going backwards MBT Who have you been upsetting
  24. Right, you lot who is at it... just noticed my positive marks have all gone.... Someone is playing silly beggars on here
