Cannae believe some of the criticism being written on other sites [ ok one of them ] about his performance last night. Personally thought he put himself about really well and led the line extremely well. Was sat is section S of SS, and couldn't believe some of the comments directed at him as he won header after header, amde lay offs and then suffered the flak because no one else was actaully supporting him or anticipating the lay off.

I'm nae the biggest fan of him, but is it me thats being kind to him for once, or was he not really as bad as some folk would have you believe last night

Thanks Aberdeen for good game. An excellent atmosphere in stadium felt even on the TV. But also heard native " Dnipro! " from our fans  . I am happy with result, but with game of the team I can't be happy . Hope for goals on the Meteor stadium.

As has been said Porterfield had an impossible task taking over from Fergie, and co-incidentally as the Murray/Penis revolution at Greyskull changed Scottish football forever. Anyway, regarding JC's contract, can someone tell me the answer to this: after the Queen's Park game, he signed a new deal. At the time, i was certain it was a 3 year deal. Why would his contract be up at the end of this season?

it was never going to be the case, although jc has in the past made much of the fact that he turned down the derby county job before billy davies landed it. i get the feeling jc has a much larger appreciation of his own qualities than anyone else does.

 

  i'd rather he stayed to see the job through, i must say. there are far too many blithering fools out there (largely on AN Other board, to be fair) with pitifully short memories who conveniently forget how absolutely rank rotten we were before jc took over. aye, we get the odd performance we don't like, but i'd rather have credible mediocrity than outright laughable atrociousness which we got under ebbe and paterson.
