Agree with your analysis of Derek Ferguson. His ability to give a balanced report on a game of football certainly outweighs the likes of Bonner and Allan Preston on Sportsound. Might be worth a punt, certainly wouldn't think the development fee involved would be that large. Wouldn't imagine he would be going straight into next season's starting line up but could work his way in.

As i said on Friday night i thought that Cosgrove grew into the game. He was unlucky not to score with that header in the second half. However too early to judge properly. Certainly a gamble signing him. Let's hope it is one that pays dividends. He is under contract until the summer of 2020.
