His last match before England was on May 11th - A mere 6 weeks during which he was training (or at least had the option of) with his national squad and/ or Liverpool. His next match wont be until the end of October - A Mere 17 weeks during which time he is banned from training with any team and isnt even allowed into Anfield (or whereever he ends up) to take a piss. Cantona & Ferdinand got 8 & 9 months but were still allowed to train with Man United and go into old Trafford. The playing ban is irrelevant compared to the ban on ALL football activity. It is effectively solitary football solitary confinement. Doesn't matter how good you are, that is going to affect you.
