My point was always that Jimmy never got enough to replace the never ending stream of players away from Pittodrie - he got enough to sign a replacement - but they were always worse than the player out the door. It isn't possible to redevelop the main stand, as there is no room to do it. The pitch is one side, and a road, which the council will not move/redirect/close is right behind it. So, you would be left with a "new" main stand of about 5 rows of seats, given that we need extra space for player run off, technical areas, etc. It just isn't possible.
