  1. didn't watch the game as I'm in the states, but reading the beeb, seems like we were vaseline'd up and pumped? although it does mention a couple of good chances missed first half
  2. hmm, that's a really tough one. well, we can win, lose or draw in each and every of our four games. There are a large combination of results that can give us between 0 and 12 points in our group.
  3. certainly other grounds around europe have flares let off on a regular basis, pretty much every match in Turkey, a lot in Spain and Italy etc, but if you do some detective works...... ha ha busted
  4. watched sportscene last night and was thoroughly disappointed with the dive that earned de visscher his second penalty. Is it not somewhere else on this board that slates mikaloukanoukasisissis for his dive? I for one die hard dons fan do not want to see this sort of kak happening in a red jersey, and hope he gets a new arse tore out of him for that.
  5. Panathinaikos are doing really well then - played 4, but got 2 wins, 2 draws and a loss!!!!
  6. going by this statement off Uefa.com Two home, two away Each club will play two matches at home and two away on 25 October, 8 November, 29 November, 05/06 December, 19/20 December. A computer draw will determine the fixture schedule with factors such as stadium clashes and climatic conditions - it is not possible to play in some northern countries in mid-December - taken into account. I think the 'Computer' will put our away match in December at either Greece or Spain. and have Copenhagen and Moscow come to us
  7. for those not yet in the know Panathanikos Atletico Madrid Lokomotiv Moscow FC Copenhagen ABERDEEN can't see us going any further, but four corners of Europe or what?!?
  8. gets a number of benefits 1 - gets another team to pay his wages 2 gets him first team football 3 gets him in the shop window even £50k is money to use on someone else.
  9. sign him, if no-one buys him, loan him out. AFC is a business after all, code of conduct or not, need some sort of return on their investment.
  10. jeez people if his contract runs out in the summer he'll sign a pre-contract in January and we get nothing. Sign him onfor another year and we'll get money. It's not recket science. if it were, we'd all be building rockets.
  11. langfield will be playing to put him in the shop window for the january transfer window
  12. just watched the Seve interview on the beeeb. According to him teh "boys done really well'. three times. in response to almost all questions asked. So they done well then
  13. just be glad you get something, streaming is websensed at my work
  14. don't be fucking daft. if clangers is a better keeper, he's still on our books so shoudlplay, regardless of a) he has fallen out with calderwood or b) he doesn't want to be there. If this is hte case, he will play well to attract another team to take him on. If he plays like shite, no-one will be interested in him. personally, I don't think there's much between the two keepers, so I would go with the one with more experience and who wants to put himself in the shop window as he'll try harder to get a deal elsewhere. And all this gash about losing the dressing room? How can that be if he's introduced dung who is a great laugh in there.
  15. aye, it's really shite sitting inside getting waitress's serve you beer, having a nice meal, then sitting in padded seats. Then steaming hot tea and free pies (yes they are smaller, so you have two) at half time. Then in again for more tea or beer at the final whistle. crap that is. disna matter where you sit, and it's not as if the club is being cheated out of the cash, hospitatlity is farrrrr more expensive. Instad of £20 ticket + maybe £10 of tea & pie, the cheapest hospitality is £70 without the dinner. So they actually benefit the club.
  16. please explain for those of us unable to get a copy of the EE
  17. santana are showing the chumpyins league games, no mention of waafa cup games. yet
  18. Loan until January with possibly permanency if all parties agree http://www.blues.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/NewsDetail/0,,10412~1103495,00.html
