  1. Can somebody copy and paste up the story please. My broadband is doon so stuck using my blackberry. Ta.
  2. I think he was blatantly being sarcastic.
  3. He is a writer. He's bohemian, a tad off the wall.
  4. Will there be any sex in this one?
  5. If you take away the EE hyperbole and simply read Smith's words I can't disagree with what he has said. I don't see him having a swipe at Aberdeen.
  6. United had a great showing against Celtic midweek before getting pumped by Hearts. I'm sure it's happened to us before as well where we get a good result against the Old Firm only to fall flat on our faces the following week. I don't know if that can be said for most SPL sides, I'm probably clutching at straws.
  7. We would be playing competitive friendlies, only later if we don't qualify for Europe.
  8. Awards? It's a vote on an internet forum for who you think the best Aberdeen player was on the day.
  9. I didn't read any quote within the article using the word 'jessie'. Typical EE bollocks.
  10. Even if the defender could not be faulted for either goal?
  11. Jimmy in the P&J says When did Jimmy write this, on the team bus? I find it a wee bit odd he was prepared to single out a Hearts player straight after a game without the benefit of a video replay yet he is being very diplomatic about this incident when the behaviour was worse. I am certainly not part of the JMG brigade but I do find this behaviour odd.
  12. Emir Kusturica & The No Smoking Orchestra
  13. Foster's defending for the second was indefensible. He has never had the ability going forward apart from the very odd long range goal. We played ok today but Foster was typically lacking.
  14. I'm not sure he will be brought out until winter time.
  15. This signing could be the fresh lick of paint the team needs.
  16. Was Pepper ridiculously hard? I just remember him being an ill tempered fanny. We could really do with a hard nut in our team... as long as he stays on the park more than Marius Zaliukas.
  17. I think you are overstating Smith's performance against Copenhagen. Yes he scored a superb goal at a vital time in the match but I don't remember him singlehandedly beating Copenhagen. That night was a tremendous team performance. Smith is a good player when fit and on form but nothing more than that. He'll certainly never be anywhere near as accomplished as Jess was. I would also suggest that, arguably, Langfield has been more valuable when it comes to results in his Dons career than Smith.

    Summer

It will be hot and with no air conditioning. You might get stuck at the border for a couple of hours. You'll have to have your passports checked at both sides of the border. When crossing between Hungary and Serbia I use a bus company that runs mini bus shuttles between Budapest and Belgrade as it saves a lot of hassle at the border.

If you get the chance to take in Lake Balaton, between Budapest and Novi Sad, then you should. Also, be prepared for the train journey between Hungary and Serbia to be long and uncomfortable with a lengthy delay at the border. Fantastic trip, Vienna, Prague, Krakow are all fantastic cities. I love Hungary, I keep going back year after year.

    Summer

I'm looking forward to a holiday in August. Headed to Novi Sad in Serbia for a few days, then up to Lake Balaton in Hungary and finishing up at the Sziget Festival in Budapest for a long weekend.
