  1. Completely and utterly agree. Did you see the way they ran back in to the dressing room at half time with the adrenelin pumping away mental style. The way the chased the ball down from kick off. If the current lot played with even half of that amount of passion you would certainly see more people turn up to watch them. I don't think it is boring football that is keeping folk fae turning up just now, or certainly not the biggest factor - I think it is missing passion on the field.
  2. Aye, a lot less of the Clang this season. We could be doing with getting some decent competition in for him though.
  3. Aye but as the biscuit man says; surely they are all bona fide heros'?
  4. Cult hero has to be big Willem. He looked ungainly and even shite at times but you could never fault the fecker for effort.
  5. Q's 1. Where do you travel from? 2. How do you get there/back? 3. What do you usually do before/after the game? 4. Preferred location? A's 1. Londinium 2. Mini bus / train / aeroplane 3. Drink as fast as I can 4. Somewhere warm
  6. I hope to goodness somebody snaps up Clark. I think it speaks volumes that he has never been mentioned as a potential target for anybody over the years. Or has he?
  7. A journo mate of mine is saying Hart is wanted by Plymouth this January and it will be in tomorrows papers.
  8. I agree. I think Motherwell will be particularly tricky and I believe they are a better off up front than us at the moment. Clarkson looks on fire from the weekends highlights and Porter and McCormack are having great seasons also. Killie should be less of a threat hopefully. I would take 4 points as well.
  9. It was encouraging for sure but I am slightly worried about how long it took to kill Hibs off. So many chances were spurned and a better team than Hibs (on todays showing) could have got back in to it. I think Maguire showed great movement but I am not sure he is the answer up front, Lovell looked more likely to score when he came on. I am still a tad cagey after today's good performance but have hope that we can go on a decent run.
  10. That's too very competent games in a row for Byrne. I've always said I have seen something in him that I like whilst I do admit he's had many a shocker along the way. Hopefully he can put a run of games together now though. On another note, Hibs were rank today. They didn't shut us down at all, which was odd. Regardless, we played well as a team.
  11. http://www.thisisnorthscotland.co.uk/displayNode.jsp?nodeId=149213&command=displayContent&sourceNode=149206&contentPK=19060665&folderPk=85709&pNodeId=149229 Jimmy says McNamara is free to go should he get a management job offer. I think that's probably about right as it hasn't really happened for him at Aberdeen for one reason or another and it would free up his not unsubstantial salary for someone else who could hopefully make an impact.
  12. Don't a lot of medium sized English clubs successfully share their grun's? Queens Park Huns and Waterford spring to mind.
  13. I'm off to New Yoik this Sunday for 4 nights - back in to Londres on Thursday at 9 (I freakin hope) and then off to Madreed at 12. Ole!
  14. After Extra Time. We ran out of steam on what was a very hot day. It was supposed to be as high as 25 degrees. It was a good effort though and we already had the League title wrapped up. The mission for the double will continue next season.
