Ok just my opinion. The first stone roses album was excellent (as is I am the resurrection and fools gold). It was great timing , mixing funky guitar riffs with rock and a cool 60s electronics experimental vibe. The tunes were really catchy and the youth embraced it in the club scene. However, after that, I believe they were over rated average musicians. It's extremely trendy for some reason to love the stone roses when really they were a one album pony IMO. Many of those 90s bands could be similarly described. Churning out some great tunes. The SRs deserve their accolades but really for just THAT album. there's far better musicians around who have done way more for the world of music but they're not as cool I guess. Each to our own.carry n.

That's the team I would consistently stick with. May has had enough opportunities on his own as has Rooney...it doesn't work. I am maybe old school and that I believe in a partnership up front. Both May and Maynard are very mobile (unlike Rooney) May is too small to punt balls up to all the time. our midfield is weak but by strengthening the defence with Shinnie, I think it's a chance worth taking and let the 'flair' players take on men on the wings to get the ball to our front two. We used to play some lovely one-twos and triangle passes...what's happened to it? Anyway, hope things change for Sunday. They need to badly.

Right now it's the opinion of many many Dons fans. Rooney, mclean, considine, tansey, may, stewart and Maynard are all not good enough at the moment. There's 7.Hows that? Manc ur still on holiday ha. It's a constant holiday over here even when you're working. There's a place I went with my gorgeous Kiwi gfriend at the time south of Marloborough. It had Yosemite style rocks and further south right on the coast where they park their boats next to their houses.There's a lighthouse and you actually drive through a seal colony where I watched seal pups play in the rock pools just before sunset. Fooking magical.
