  1. Shower of cunts, from Charlie Adam to Alex Miller etc... These cunts are dinosaurs, the lead up to this opener has been cringeworthy as fuck, the creaming over Gerrard & Rangers is at an all time high & I would absolutely fucking love it if we trounce these arseholes today. Enough to make you fucking sick, bastards. COYFR!
  2. Indeed LA, they both looked extremely comfortable last week, until Vokes came on, maybe I was being slightly over critical, I just felt they both struggled, but still contained them well enough. Both hugely inexperienced in that environment so I suppose it wasn't all bad. They will be an outstanding partnership & in reality, should cope with Morelos with ease on Sunday. Fingers crossed they stay injury free.
  3. Have to say SeeBass, I don't think he meant disrespect to ourselves at all, I think he was just saying to his own fans that they can now go abroad. He was very complimentary to us on BBC and said that we performed extremely well over both legs. He actually spent the first few minutes of his interviews that I have heard and seen talking us up, saying that he was genuine and not patronising ( which I think was a dig at some of the media down there ) My take on it all ( the games anyway ) Is that I do believe Burnley deserved it over both legs, but we certainly gave as good as we got. I feel McKenna & Devlin actually struggled last night, I know a lot of people were praising Devlin, but I personally thought he looked troubled & thought McKenna had one of his worse games, granted, they did try and weren't shite, they just couldn't really cope with their physicality & looked rather nervous. McGinn was a positive, GMS at times was positive, Cosgrove was the polar opposite of last week in that nothing came off for him, he'll definitely be useful in some games this season, but we MUST NOT start the season with Cosgrove and May as our only 2 strikers, needs addressed today or tomorrow. Fortunately the CB's won't be up against that physicality again this season, and I reckon they'll cruise it and form one of the best pairings in the league, if not thee best. Scott Wright is another I am not overly convinced with, he at least is direct and tries to take people on, which is admirable, just really feel he'd have learned a lot more and gained valuable experience going out on loan. Big season for him. Ferguson looks a good find and can't comment on Gleeson & Forrester as haven't seen anywhere enough of them, although I think they'll both start against The fucking Hun vermin. Summarise, we gave a very good account of ourselves against a very good, streetwise team, that J B Gudmondsson ( sp ) was the only player I thought they had that could maybe play at a better club. But agree with McInnes in that I don't think the players should be too down, when the dust settles and they realise they held a Premier League club to a 2-2 aggregate scoreline over 180 minutes, they should be pleased with themselves.
  4. Can only imagine with that line up that we will be looking to keep it goalless for as long as possible and then put Forrester & Wright etc... on and hope to nick a goal. EDIT - Just saw Burnley's 11, they are starting with 2 up front Vokes/Wood so looks like a 3-5-2 right enough, Hoban/Devlin & McKenna the 3 CB's
  5. That's probably because we can't really prevent a club from making an actual offer for McKenna, and he's just letting potential suitors know that we absolutely won't fold in terms of the asking price. He did say we are not encouraging offers, but if you come in with an offer, it has to be on our terms.
  6. So confirmation from our manager that Swansea have held discussions about McKenna's availability, nothing more, or at least not an official bid, although I have a very strong feeling that after the Burnley game, there will be. Pleased to see McInnes finishing that statement up with the remark that McKenna has the potential to be better than Mawson, who they just sold for 18-20 Million, so any forthcoming bid would have to be very serious I feel, and I am not talking a couple of million https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45037951
  7. Gabby Agbonlahor the latest name doing the rounds on Social Media. Fairly certain he's out of our wage budget and even if he was willing to take a drop, he's been pretty dire for several years now. Has scored 1 goal per season, in the last 3 seasons, but pre 2011, he was fairly prolific. Personally can't see it happening if there's truth in it.
  8. Yes, the other being Morgan Brown, who I assume is a potential target for the Development Squad.
  9. Possibly a long shot, but got me thinking last night as I saw him sat on the bench, perhaps we could approach Burnley themselves & enquire about the availability of Nakhi Wells on a season long loan? He's only made around 9 appearances for them since joining & he's well behind Vokes, Barnes & Wood in the pecking order. He's a pacey striker who's goal ratio isn't great, but it isn't bad either & certainly an improvement on the likes of Eoin Doyle... etc.... Like I said, possibly a long shot, but he'd certainly be an improvement.
  10. Can't believe I forgot to mention the absolutely magnificent tribute display to Neale Cooper. Great credit to everyone involved with that. Also, I am quite critical of Chris Sutton, but delighted to see him passionately defend us and the rest of Scottish Football. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44976074
  11. Well that was gutting to concede, but to be fair, we had ample opportunities to prevent it, Wood wins first header, Vokes takes a horrendous first touch, but to be fair to him, he rescued it well and buried it. Plenty of positives, some really nervous strikes at goal, from Logan & McGinn in particular, but they both played well. Cosgrove was very good, he held the ball up when he had too and got an effort or two on goal. He is a handful. GMS was full of energy, but for me, he pissed about too much with fancy footwork when there was an easier pass available. Overall, thought we did very well, up against a solid, organised, fit team. You could see they upped the tempo 2nd half, but still didn't really cause too many problems, although when Vokes came on, we struggled to cope. He changed the game for them in terms of being more useful than Wood was. I do believe we can score down there, but need 90 minutes of sheer concentration & maybe a little bit more imagination than some of the aimless passes that crept in to the game heavily around half way through the 2nd half.
  12. Claret, is it confirmed that Wood, Brady & Defour are injured for tomorrow? If so, that is quite a boost for ourselves I feel.
  13. Glad we have brought in reinforcements, but Devlin & McKenna are our 2 main CB's, so Hoban will surely be here as cover only, obviously unless we pick up injuries/suspensions. He'll play the first 2 league games at RB until Shay returns from suspension. If he turns out to be another Hector, then it's win, win. Pretty happy with Cerny, always thought he was a decent enough keeper and probably could have played at better clubs than Hamilton & Partick in the SPFL. Think I have read that we are allowed 2 wildcard signings that are eligible to play in Europa League, so that rules out a Striker before the Burnley game, might still sign one of course, just won't be in the squad for the game.
  14. Not sure why, but I have adopted this number in grief of my recently passed Grandfather. Our family all fell out over something quite serious, and my old man stood by his own kids, but sadly, my grandparents didn't Used to sit with my Papa every Saturday for a few pints for several years before this revelation came about, and even after it, although we never sat with each other, he'd still send a pint through to me, and vice versa, in the main hall where I would eventually go for the live band whilst he stayed at the pool table. He passed suddenly and I haven't spoken to him in 2-3 years & I feel absolutely sick, even more so that my Dad, out of principal and standing by his own kids, didn't attend the funeral. Genuinely breaks my heart and devastated I never got to say goodbye. But I also absolutely agreed to stand by my Dad, it has wrecked him, he's not been the same, but I understand why he chose to go on his own after the service took place. Anyway, I am clearly babbling on, and for that I apologise. Just feel like the last couple of verses in this song really hit home.
  15. In the words of Papa Lazarou, this is just a saga now.
  16. Alexander MacQueen, lightning quick Right Back, apparently a target, Motherwell also interested. ( Daily Record the Source ) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_McQueen_(footballer)
  17. Very encouraging regarding Ferguson, think almost everyone who has seen him in the friendlies has praised him, but more so tonight. Gleeson & Forrester also seem to be good bits of business by the manager. With Ball & possibly Tansey & Campbell, perhaps we will finally see Shinnie reverted back to LB! I for one, am very pleased with this, if it comes to fruition. So a new right back & a new striker, possibly 2, are we ready for the new season? Or are we still short.
  18. Ward & Woodman both have time on their side though. Lewis, whilst not old, wouldn't command a fee that substantial due to his performances at previous clubs in where he failed to really take himself to the next level. For what it's worth, I think he'd do a job at a mid table premier league club no bother. And to be even more of a snide prick lads, I must pick both of you up on your spelling of Arnason, not Arneson, sorry ( Yes, I'm a cunt )
  19. Cosgrove was good after the split, he put himself about, he just lacked a goal. I don't mind having him in and around the squad, he will be handy in certain games. May, well the jury is still out. He needs a run of 15 or so games, in where he getting opportunities in front of goal, to see if he can rediscover form or not. What cannot be denied though, is that we can't go into a new season with Stevie May and Sam Cosgrove as our only 2 Strikers, McInnes has confirmed today we are looking at signing another forward and right sided defender, let's just hope they are here and ready for the season starting.
  20. Peter O'Rourke from Sky Sports has confirmed Rooney has signed for Salford. Cheerio Adam, thanks for the many goals & good luck. Wonder if he asked to go or was pushed? In any case, I would imagine a replacement will be announced tomorrow or Friday ( along with a few other bodies hopefully )
  21. Can't see this happening. I reckon at most, we will sign 2 players from Championship/League 1 on loan and that'll be that. Possibly find a Striker for the 250k we offered for Marquis and 1 loan at most. Isn't there a deadline for registering players for the Europa League? It can't be too far away.
  22. If the Sun are to be believed, we are re-signing Dom Ball on loan & taking Dean Lyness on trial. Lyness is a GK, he was on trial at St Johnstone recently, although they opted not to sign him. Ball at least is decent enough in midfield, but he will probably be signed as cover for Logan & CB. Unless Gleeson's injury is serious and lengthy, then he'll slot into midfield. Not really what I was hoping for, but it's another body, we appear to be needing them.
  23. Another appearance in front of a judge, this time for spitting at a bouncer. This little wank stain has 4 previous convictions for assault, why the fuck has he not been jailed yet? Or was he, and I have missed it? Utterly bizarre, imagine it was you or I eh, fucking farce. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-44846547
  24. Regarding Rooney, apparently the reason he's not signed for Salford yet is due to St Mirren & Hamilton, they're both very interested in him. Makes you wonder, has he asked to leave or has he been asked to leave? Either way, looks like he will definitely be moving on. Someone suggested Hamilton have been offered him as part of the Lewis Ferguson compensation problem. Hamilton would never turn down a player like Rooney.
  25. Match vs Cove abandoned due to a serious injury to Jordon Brown, hope the lad is alright.
