    Almost done 🇸🇪

Though kinda going off him the more I hear the way the surname is pronounced. Say what you like about Robson but he kept it simple.

I think it was pronounced Rhuuub-seeeen.

  2. Not much chatter, would be nice to get a win obviously, but with rangers playing Ross county, as well as motherwell playing hibs, we’d be 10 clear of 2nd bottom going into the split and closer to those above us.
3-1 us, bojan McGrath and clarkson

The Northern Lights kit? I’ll sell you mine if you can’t find a new one. Barely worn, it was an impulse purchase. Can send you pics in DM.

Works for me! Size adult large?

When you didn't have enough competent refs to run the games up here pre-VAR then it stands to reason that needing more of them to use this system just results in more incompetent people being involved. A joke.

Surely the only appropriate way this should’ve been handled was “sorry ref, the system is down so go with your on-field call”? That fact that it wasn’t just beggars belief.

Second paragraph says it all. That’s the most basic common sense to me….!?!? You only change a call where it’s a clear and obvious error and that wasn’t the case and couldn’t be verified.

  5. What a bizarre statement. The system failed so they guessed whether the goal should stand and even overturned the on field decision without clear evidence. didnt even tell the ref to take a look.

VAR is broken and needs canned. Awful for our game. And what if we get relegated by a point when that should now clearly have been 3??

He literally won something last week. It was also glass and Robson's first managerial post. Meaning he clearly has more experience.

P.s I liked what glass tried to do.

I’m with you, I like what glass tried to do too. He just didn’t have the players, plus as evidenced by jack gurr, I don’t think he fully understood our level. He thought gurr would excel whereas he wasn’t even close to good enough. But I think he would have come good with experience and support.

i don’t consider what airdrie won as winning something that means he’s our level. We’ve failed with young and relatively unproven/inexperienced managers, your guy has less experience than the guys that just failed. Perhaps a few months at airdrie makes him more experienced in management as Robson, but robson’s experience and level as a player counts for something.

regardless, he’s nowhere close to us at present. If we don’t hire someone mid 40s-mid 50s with legit management experience I’d be stunned.

Can we just get McCabe in?

. Another win and Airdrie in serious playoff contention with fuck all resource. He's going places and plays the football Dave promised.

    Just do it.

Absolutely zero chance of that happening. Not saying he might be something one day but he’s younger and less experienced than glass, Goodwin, or Robson. Has he ever won anything? Guy has done nothing in football. Yet perhaps, but absolutely zero chance of us looking at him.

  8. Sounds like we are sitting waiting for an answer from jimmy thelin. I’m ok with him as manager but not the way I’d want it to go with this process, especially if he ends up turning us down…..and my gut says he will. Fuck knows what plan B is. I’ve defended us a fair amount but if he says no it looks awful. The only acceptable reason for such a delayed hire too is if he states that he wanted to be sure we were playing in the SPL next year. I can accept that.
this limbo has to end asap.

  9. Looks like bologna boss Thiago Motta is on his way to juventus, and I’d say from that Lewis Ferguson very likely to follow him. Show us the money!!

    Yes.

Duk has the most assists and is the third top goal scorer.*

Though Miovski has the most goals and is the third top for assists.*

    *in the league

Is he was questioning whether he’s the only player creating chances recently. Stats don’t lie but it doesn’t mean he’s effective.

  11. I’ll also add, while he was poor today, Mackenzie can be good going forward and can create. Bringing on duk means that Mackenzie has to, for the most part, stop going forward, as you know most often duk will lose possession and the opponent counters. if Mackenzie isn’t behind duk ready to defend he’s getting exposed and our left side is space for the opponent to exploit.

Not sure why Duk gets such a hard time, he’s about the only player creating any chances recently. He’s our top assister too which doesn’t say much for those who start the games.

Is he though? He got an assist the other day but he plays so little I don’t see how he can be creating a lot. My recollection of him this season is him fucking up and losing possession, most often because of poor choices and bad play. We create so little as a team so while he may create, doesnt mean he’s a high producer. I pushed for him to come on at half time as he tries stuff and can create, but problem is in games like today, he’s not smart enough to recognize where and when to do things. Said it already, it doesn’t come off for him that much when you think about it, and when he’s trying to be creative inside his own half more often than not he’s giving a good opportunity to the other team.

No point celebrating goals now until after the VAR checks. No-one gained an advantage from the offsides.

As for the game. Meh. Hopefully a new manager before the semi-final.

Been thinking that for a while now. Goal then check, and most of the time I’m waiting for our goals to be disallowed anyway. Makes it a stressful experience! Takes away from the enjoyment of scoring!

Yep, unless it magically isn't, like last week. I guess it's difficult for any sub coming on, but you feel with Duk that you're equally as likely to lose a goal because of him as you are to score one. Dribbling out of his own box again today, makes him almost impossible to start in games as he's such a liability.

Said it last year too, guy is dumb as rocks and nine times out of ten makes the wrong decision. His goals bailed him out last year but he’s so easy to figure out and defend. You know what he’s going to do, then begs for a foul every time he loses the ball. I’d take any offer and move him on, not a team player either and must be so frustrating to play with.

  15. We’re not nearly tight enough, not working hard enough. allow livi to knock it around and play to feet and we’re 5 yds off them. Allowing them to keep the ball. Can’t wait for season to be over, provided we stay up…

  16. Another shit watch so far. We’re not bad, they are just shit too. So much stop start with fouls and injuries, livi had a decent chance with a header early on, bojan should have scored his 1v1. At this rate we’ve got about 3 hrs left of the game.

We've got 2 CBs who look as though they are just don't want to challenge when the ball is pumped towards/crossed from wide and so jump for the ball without any conviction, added to that we've a keeper who seems much more intent on keeping (pun intended) his hair in place...the incident in the 1st half when the ball was played over the back line and he actually left his line but looked shit scared that the forward bearing down on him might make contact and was very lucky when he dropped the ball that the RC guy had gone beyond him (though to be fair his punch under pressure for their last corner kick was excellent).  Feel you are being a bit harsh on Milne who isn't a FB and certainly isn't miles worse that Devlin - the time when they broke after one of our corners and we were caught short at the back, Devlin trotted back like an inferior Andy Considine.

Totally agree, Ruby and McDonald attack and win the majority, the two today backed off. Not saying Ruby and angus are great, but at least they are aggressive and attack the ball. Very soft in the middle today. At 6’1’’ both should be much stronger, and especially when playing in Scotland, a central defender needs to be dominating in the air. Both today seemed to back away and county were left with space infront of our defense, plus I don’t recall gartenmann winning a header, he seems to hesitate plus lets the ball bounce. Thankfully we weren’t punished but plenty of teams would have damaged us there. These two cannot be long term solutions for us, just not good enough.
