  1. Bit strange if it could be seen on the TV as the main stand linesman was at the other side of the pitch so not sure what the camera angle would have to have been. Then again if he was a Don's fan where was the off side flag for the Celtic goal and why the flag for Miller's "goal"?

It will be a national Holiday in Scotland, won't it?
  3. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/a/aberdeen/7282268.stm And this only a couple of days after we were told he may make the game on sunday.
  4. Only for about 2 seasons when their turnover to wage ratio sits at 95% odds or there about. But if this is true we should get Mackie on a £10K per week contract and get him punted for big bucks in the summer.
  5. Instead of moving the mikes why not just move away fans into half of the Merkland.
  6. Is it just me or is chimp doing his joker impression? I don't think I want to know what Mizer is doing mind!
  7. If only you'd said, I could have saved you the £9.99. That said, the return taxi fare would have probably cost that, so maybe things have worked out for the best...
  8. On the Radio it said Khan has been ruled out due to sickness and their back up keeper injured his back tying his shoelace. 41 yr old emergency keeper now supposed to be playing, we will have to get the ball into Bayern's half though to take advantage of this.
  9. Cheers min, May help him out with "An Aberdeen fan who didn't want to be named".
  10. He's a syndicate journalist so whichever papers picks up the story if any.... If you're lucky may even be the Retard or the Hun.
  11. Right not sure if anyone is interested in a quick 15 mins of fame BUT a pal of mine who's a journalist is looking to do a story on the clash of Aberdeens biggest game in XX number of years with Valentine's Day and is looking for any Aberdeen fans brave enough to go on record about either how close to the divorce courts they now are or alternatively how they have got to get to go to the game. If anyone fancies their name in the paper let me know and I'll pass on the details.
  12. I'm happy in the knowledge that before major European games JC has planned to have us play shite to fool visiting scouts, a la Motherwell before the Copenhagen game. Expect a 4-0 pumping of Bayern. Obviously after the Tims turn us over though.
  13. Oh no! I think you might be a couple of Rows behind me then.
  14. Walker played a stormer today but clearly is a defensive midfielder as got a nose bleed every time he got near Hamilton's 18 yard box, despite this, still a stand out player and a real coup in landing him. Oh and Duff is still shocking.
  15. Hartson would be a waste of time for Aberdeen, one of his main talents was winning free kicks against defenders. Lee Miller plays in exactly the same way but gets only about a third of the number of fouls. Difference is when Hartson won the fouls he was playing for one of the old firm, so if he signed for us he'd just be another Lee Miller and wouldn't get any of the decisions. Or am I just being cynical?
  16. Falls right in the middle of Edinburgh schools' Febuary half term so I'm not able to go! Why should people at my work with children get priority for holidays at times like that? You'd think they'd want to be working when their children are off school so they don't have to spend time with them!!
  17. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/h/hibernian/7195200.stm Heard this on the radio last night it appeared to be towards the end of last season when he made the enquiry. Nice to see it didn't go any further but begs the question of how much most of the Hibs players are actually on as he goes on to say.
  18. That's the fee with the "add ons"! We will get paid an extra £500,000 for every goal Clark scores for Plymouth. To be honest I think Setanta Sports News is being a bit optimistic.

  20. Oooo, you wouldn't let it lie!!!!
  21. What I want to know is if he was going to "take ferguson out" why did he not drop to the floor like a rangers player when ferguson grabbed his throat. That has to be the best oppertunity he had, no?

Chick Young on the radio said he was approached by someone outside the ground who explained that people were boycotting the game and had returned their tickets. Chick indicated he'd be happy to bring the incident to everyone's attention on the radio. Didn't actually hear why though.
  23. So he's off in the summer of 2009!!!!! Where's that panic button?
  24. I believe that would be a "football special".
