  1. MK Dons are almost identical in size (although obviously not quality ) to us. For 2015/16: Their wage bill = £8million, ours = $7million. Their revenue = £12million, ours = £13.5million Their average attendance = 13K, ours = 13K Their debt = £8million, our debt = And that was when they were in the Championship, they have dropped to L1 now. 2. Ach, dinnae knock them min, Caley do a great job for us, it's nae their fault we aren't allowed to have the reserve team in-house at the moment. Nae sure about Watkins though, paper talk has him signing for Norwich.
  3. Pretty much this. We gave him the captaincy to retain him last time round, it didn't work, and i suspect we didn't make anywhere near as strong an offer to keep him this time round given we now have Shinnie (captain in waiting) and McLean. Certainly a distinct lack of "we want to build a team around him" chat from Deek this time, and i'm guessing Jack is injured for the rest of the season hence why the decision has been reached early - good for both us and him to conclude quickly. If he does choose to go to Petulant Pedro, he knows how that would be viewed by Dons fans, so how Jack responds to Sevco will be a fairly good indicator of his level of respect for a club that he has spent his entire career at. As i said before, innocent until proven guilty, so let's just see.
  4. At no point did King say he would spend the season ticket money on buying players - what he said was: That's exceptionally vague to put it mildly. If you add up existing squad "investments" - wages, training facilities, support staff etc - its probably not that far off the season tickets total already. The simple fact is that Sevco is still running at a loss, so without extra money in, the season ticket money can't suddenly and magically become an extra "warchest" if it's all tied up in current squad costs.
  5. Surely Greer must be approaching his 50s by now
  6. The Sevco - Dons match has passed, is this even still a rumour anymore?
  7. We're a right miserable bunch even when we are being biased I seem to remember it was Løvenkrands, i'm sure i heard his name being mentioned. Aye, he was a bit calmer but had considerably less airtime than the main commentator, who was determined to make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. If that's better than it normally is, i should probably be thankful that this is the first time i've listened to SevcoTV
  8. Er, yes? I don't think optimistic would ever sum up a Doric commentary, especially RedTV. We give more grief to our players than all other fans combined
  9. Normally, i would say it was wishful thinking. Then i read this BBC story posted today - wow, just wow. Caixinha is coming across as a bit of a dick, some of his comments are shyte-stirring of the highest order: What a prick, and fair play to Deek for not rising to any of it, publicly at least. Although if he did leave the boy standing on his tod in his office for 15 minutes, that's pretty funny. Rangers 1-2 Aberdeen: Caixinha tells McInnes not to come to manager's office
  10. Try listening to that for 93 minutes straight, it was right out of the Kim Jong-Un Football Commentary Handbook. Every Sevco touch was "world class", every Sevco youngster was a "huge find", every Dons shot was a "great save" (and there were a lot of "great saves" ). The McGinn free kick was the funniest, one of them spent the whole buildup to it hammering on about how it was far too far out for any player of Dons quality to take a direct shot at goal, which quickly turned into a grudging "great save" when he bent it towards the top corner
  11. It wasnae quite that bad min! 26 years. (bad enough)
  12. That'll do pig, that'll do. Boos at Ibrox - my favourite sound.
  13. Key now is to not lose anyone for the cup in the last couple minutes to a bit of hunthuggery.
  14. Cheating fecking huns.
  15. Must be a big one if you have to shift the furniture to make space
  16. Loving this. SevcoTV commentary dropped to a whisper when the 2nd went in.
  17. Actually, i take that back - it's hilarious. Can't wait for us to score another so that the commentators go into proper meltdown.
  18. Dear christ, someone tell me there's a stream that isn't SevcoTV
  19. We shall expect a name change to WellingDon the second you land.
  20. Jury's out for me. He has looked solid in some matches, utterly gash in others. Like a less scary Taylor. We clearly need to clone Russell Anderson or get God to regrow his moustache, as we are crying out for a stabilising CB. If i had to choose who pair with such a player though, it would be O'Connor over Taylor.
  21. Best for the Dons if it were Accies - if ICT go down, i'd worry they wouldn't attract the quality of players we need.
  22. It is if the storage capacity is also infinite.
  23. Touché. This board ain't big enough for two pedants. Although technically given a web entity doesn't have any physical attributes and is potentially infinitely scaleable with sufficient storage capacity and assuming a lack of artificially-imposed software restrictions, maybe it is.
  24. Innocent until proven guilty. Jack has been a good player for us, no need to start badmouthing him just because of some unsubstantiated shite-stirring by the Sevco manager. Of course, if he does actually sign for Sevco, fire in by all means.
