  1. There's some affy strong reverb in here

    Clarkson

I don't watch the show, i'm nae that fussed about cars. My dislike of Clarkson lies in the fact that he is a figure in the public eye who encourages ignorance and xenophobic drivel. Same goes for Katie Hopkins, Nigel Farage, anyone at the Daily Mail, etc etc.
  3. Christ, this whole thread is only serving to show how vindictive football as a sport can be. We lost, yes, we were shite, yes, it's disappointing, yes, but some of you sound like you want to go firebomb the players' houses. Calm doon folks and i'll see you at the Scottish cup final
  4. I'd say those are a good indicator of the nature of probability - there's a reason they are 5/1 and not 5/0. We're all happy when Goliath gets beaten, but don't kick the shite out of David every time he loses. That said, i did think we were considerably poorer than usual today, and no, i don't know what Wes Burns is for. Can he toast bread?
  5. Anyway, we'll beat them in the Scottish Cup final
  6. No i'm not happy with the performance, i think we were below par, but i think some of the reactions above are blind to a bit of realism about the odds we face.
  7. That's hardly a fair comparison - no team has a 10x advantage in spending power over another in the EPL. Champion's league money has destroyed the game in our country since 1995, having a go at our own players or questioning their mentality just because we can't afford to match them in a players arms race is positively Sevconian.
  8. Calm yerselves - its not a "fuckin disgrace", its the same old story. Celtic win because money. The Scottish game will always be a mockery while there is such a massive financial imbalance in favour of one team.
  9. Thoughts? Team looks strong, except Taylor is making me nervous already.
  10. ...on the pitch in a starting place. COYR

    Clarkson

Weirdly, i had a dream last night where Trump became president of the US, and Clarkson became PM of UK at the same time. It was fecking hideous.
  12. I will never, ever tire of watching that Hayes goal. Enjoy the day folks that are heading, ye bastards with yer shiny tickets and such. I'll be on the sofa.
  13. We're the ones with class, they're the ones with money.
  14. Have always thought Craig Brown was unduly slated as a manager for us - he was the right man at the right time to do all the thankless stuff to turn us around and set things up for McInnes, and should always be credited for such.
  15. There's a similar story on the BBC site today. I suspect this is a sensible bit of preemptive action to head off one avenue of attempts to unsettle the team pre-cup final day. Between this and the way the ticket split was handled, i'd say the club is getting a bit sharper at handling the media on these occasions.
  16. Oot Hoose Hoose Hoose/oot 1-1 (Dons win on pens). 2 Tic in-game penalties, one missed, Considine sent off in the 12th minute, Maddison 92nd minute equaliser, Rooney winning shootout pen. Media to ignore the fact that we win and focus entirely on the 2nd missed Tic penalty.
  17. Right age right enough. Don't know which position Strachan would play him in though.
  18. He was responsible for some of the dullest football i've ever seen from an international team. Yes he can get results, if draws and the occasional sneaked win are what you are after, but by christ it's boring. Football is supposed to be a form of light entertainment, not a mindnumbing test of endurance - i had enough of that from the Dons in the previous decade to be crying out for more.
  19. No Governor Jeb Bush to rig Florida for his big brother this time though.
  20. Not to play devil's advocate, but that one is already under offer and therefore not available. Possibly because of the housing shortage
  21. More on the strip from the BBC site today: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37597392
  22. As others have said, he's definitely demonstrated that CB is his best position, and that he has turned out to be the best we have in that position too. I'm still bemused by the complete reversal of Reynolds, either he has been confronted by a sudden realisation of the prospect of his own mortality, or someone has cut all his hair off.
  23. County should have won it at the end - effectively two points dropped for County, although i'm sure it'll be portrayed differently at Traynorland.
