  1. oops sorry, did you delete it already from here, I thought I had hit the wrong button so I reposted it LOL.
  2. From the E.E website Michael Hart is quitting Pittodrie because he's fed up getting underpaid. The defender rejected Aberdeen's final contract offer before the dramatic UEFA Cup win over Copenhagen. The deal also incorporated a testimonial, but the club vice-captain reckons he was undervalued by the Dons. His decision to leave has sparked interest south of the border with Plymouth and Preston ready to battle it out for his services. The 27-year-old wants to seal his exit before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month. That would see him miss the epic battles with Dundee United in the CIS Cup semi-final and the European showdown with Bayern Munich. "My decision is based on the fact the club have made it clear the offer on the table is their final offer," said Hart. "That's very disappointing for me. The club gave me time to make my decision and now I have. "The gaffer took me in and asked me for a final decision. I told him I didn't think it was the right offer. "I felt I was worth more to the club than what I'd been offered. "Willie Miller said it was his final offer and it was the maximum the club could go to. "I just felt it wasn't good enough and there are a lot of players at the club earning a lot more than me. "I said I didn't want any more than anyone else, I just wanted to be fairly paid. "Willie stated the club is now trying to put a pay structure in place and everyone who is on bigger money will now have to come down. "I felt if I had committed to the three-year deal with the testimonial I would have regretted it further down the line. "The testimonial was such a big thing to turn down. "But I just wanted to be paid my worth. It's a big decision and I could miss some massive games, but I had to do what's best for me." Hart could have played his last match for Aberdeen. The former Livingston man has missed the last three Dons games with a hip problem. And he would rather leave now with Plymouth manager Paul Sturrock determined to land his man. The Pilgrims boss has tabled a £175,000 bid for the defender, but he may be ready to up his offer if he can land two Dons. Sturrock wants Hart and Chris Clark in a double deal, but will have to pay up to £500,000 to snare the Pittodrie pair. But the duo could also pen pre-contract deals and leave Aberdeen for nothing in the summer.
  3. Saw him going crazy on you tube video, really meant alot to him by the looks of it. If we could have the same sort of mentallity (from the whole team) in he spl we would be up where we were last seaon if not better. The fans were also amazing last night, wish I could have been there myself .
  4. I would rather have them away 1st. Nevermind looking at statistics last time we met we went on to win the trophy Bring them on.
  5. I think I am in dream land, Cannot beleive what im hearing on Red T.V. Atmosphere sounds awesome.
  6. Team selection made easy, what has he got rid of the hat and the team is picked by computer now. Just hit enter and the pc does the rest.
  7. Talking of Black just saw this on BBC.CO.UK: Caretaker boss Black quits Blues Birmingham caretaker manager Eric Black has quit the club and intends to join boss Steve Bruce at Wigan. Black was assistant to Bruce, who left Birmingham to take over as boss at Wigan last week, and is now set to follow him to the JJB Stadium. Black was in temporary charge at St Andrews for just one game as Birmingham lost 2-0 to Portsmouth on Saturday. A Blues statement said: "He had been here since July 2004 and leaves with the best wishes of all at the club." ****************************************************************************** I can see why we would offer Mcleish and Watson the job but bringing back Aitken???
  8. omg LOL I went to bbc to check, thought you were winding me up. How can they make a fuck up like that, I see Dundee United are furious.
  9. What do you think our chances are against the Huns? Was not the draw Iw as hoping for but I guess you have to beat the Old Firm some time if your going to win the trophy. Lets make it an Non Glasgow Final
  10. I think for 2008 he should grow a big bushy one to celebrate 25 years since Gothenburg.
  11. From the Atletico Madrid website. Aberdeen Aberdeen Football Club made it to the UEFA Cup gr0up stage after knocking out Ucranian side Dnipro thanks to the away goal rule, as they drew at home in Scotland nil-all, and drew 1-1 in Dnipropetrovsk with the away goal giving Jimmy Calderwood’s men passage to the next stage. The Scottish team has a certain parallelism with Atletico de Madrid, as they were created only one month before the Spanish side, concretely the 20th of March, 1903. It’s a club with enormous tradition in their country, where they’ve won 4 League titles, 7 Scottish Cups and 5 League Cups, in addition to two Drybrough Cups. Their last title was won in the 95/96 season, when they conquered the League Cup. They also have two international trophies: the European Cup Winner’s Cup (82-83) and the European Super Cup (83-84). It’s worth noting that Sir Alex Ferguson, the current manager of Manchester United, was the coach that directed the team during their most glorious years, at the beginning of the eighties, when he gave them three Leagues and the European Cup Winner’s Cup over Real Madrid in 1983.
  12. The draw could have been much worse and Aberdeen seem to do better when they are underdogs.
  13. The BBC website have virtually written is off.
  14. Unreal, Well done to everyone sounded like they played their hearts out. Lets hope for a good group draw.
  15. I was in Gothenburg, I was 9 years old at the time and was there with my mum and dad. It was really wet that night, we were suprised the game went ahead. I wanted to go home at half time because I was so wet and cold, my dad thankfully told me I would regret it for the rest of my life. I dont remember very much about the game but do remember the free kick near the end which Real got to retake. We could not watch. I remember the final whistle my dad running down the front and leaving me and my mum. I could not see for the crowd of people and some guy picked me up and put me on his shoulders saying loon you will not forget this night. After the match some drunk guy came into our hotel room totally naked and said oops sorry wrong room LOL. I wonder if he or the guy who picked me up come on here atall.
  16. Young should be left back In the dressing room
  17. Listening to the game on red tv and next thing the other Northsound station cuts in now I am getting both channels at the same time :hammer:
  18. Don't be stupid we would miss young in Midfield, Seve should be in goals.
  19. Your English is very good compared to some people on follow follow.
  20. I hope, with his European experiance at Dungfermilne he is a must, plus we need someone to give the dressing room a laugh.
  21. Waitng for an email from my parents when they get in from the game, from what I heard on red tv it seems there were very few if any positives to be taken from todays game.
  22. True but you also have to question the players if they cannot motivate themselves especially with them trying to win places for the UEFA cup game on Thursday.
