Optimism reduced a bit seeing that line up.Not sure its the type of game for Aouchiche, but hopefully takes some confidence from last Saturday.Kjartansson may be a later option.Ah well, here goes....
-
Theyve had a mixed run of results, and theyre missing a guy(Olesunya?) who gave us problems last season.A wee bit more optimistic than usual this time round if were up for it.Got guys that can run at their defence, and with some more nifty Karlsson footwork around the box fancy a narrow win. 1 - 2 Dons. Karlsson,Armstrong

Biggest island of the small isles, but only about 40 inhabitants who mostly live in Kinloch the harbour village. The rest of the island probably too rough or exposed id say.Fantastic mountains. Not huge, but challenging and great views.A few cyclable tracks go to various sides of the island.Definitely going back next year to hill climb, too soggy this year. And aye theres about 1000 deer on the island.Nae good when youre trying to kip during rutting season, lol Mother and baby dolphin on the way over.Minke whale juming out the water near the mainland

Our crappy start to the season might be a blessing in disguise....

Looks like Debbie Harry wearing a Dons top from the same era? Nae sure why though.... Just back......the day it all clicked(I hope). As others said, had concerns pre match when i heard the line -up,but neednt have worried,we should probably have had a couple of goals before we got the pen.Started raining goals after that, til we took our foot off the peddle second half. Solid team performance, and a few great individual performances, the stand out for me being Gyamfi.Good defensively, and very good going forward.Aouchiche(sighed when I saw his name) had a surprisingly good game, and Shinnie, who I thought was the heartbeat of the side. Milne,Karlsson and Armstrong all good.Jensen better, but still has an annoying habit of taking the safe option, maybe a confidence thing. Pleased for Jimmy T,monkey off his back

So I phoned them up for an explanation.Games are charged in low/ high category.Apparently the Falkirk game was low (£26),and the Dundee one higher?? (£29).They also added on a £2.50 fee for picking the ticket up at the Merkland kiosk(wasnt a thing last season)
-
Its a disappointing start,..but with our groomers??
-
Prices been hiked at Pittodrie recently?.Just paid £31.50 the now for practically the same seat on section Y as a month ago, which cost £26. Extra levy for watching the Dundee Dynamos?
-
The 60mph winds should make for an interesting spectacle.....
-
In - Y Not sure what style of football Dundee are playing under Pressley, but they seem to have stabilised a bit recently(W1,D3,L2).If we can bring second half v Shaktar into this game, get an early goal,.....and then the confidence to get a few more... Shitty weather easing off by kick off Dons 3 - Dees 1 Lazetic,Nisbet x2
-
Just back fae Rum,first visit.Dolphins,Whales and Eagles within the first couple of hours over. Its a rough, often wet island though.Veered between shite and fantastic during the time there.Trench foot aside, highlight(on the one fairweather day) was the coastal path from Kinloch to Dilbidil bothy on the East coast. https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/islands/dibidil.shtml

A frustrating watch in the first half, could barely get near the ball,...or lost it when we had it.Much better in the second when we moved it about quickly with intent. Milne,Lazetic and Devlin all good.Hopefully fired us up for the Dungdee game -

Not sure how much its I cant be arsed with another new manager,or the fact he appears to be an intelligent man,and you'd hope he's going to eventually work out what he needs to change, .....is why I'd persist til Xmas and review. The glimmer of hope is that the Elfsborg fans were questioning him into season 2,before he got them going,..and bearing in mind its only a game or 2 that some of the players have been getting used to each other. -
Am away this weekend, and going by ticket sales a large chunk of the home support look like they will be too. Hope for Thelins sake we find a formation that works.Luck must be due a change soon 3 - 0 Dons. Karlsson x2,Milanovic
-
Gunner took more stick than he deserved,if as mentioned he was more in the Administration side. Some of the Ba'heids in our support blamed him for every shitty signing,or for deals falling through
-
Oot - Unfortunately, was looking forward to seeing some of the new boys at some stage on Saturday, but forgot about a pre-arranged trip. Hopefully our new firepower up front will be enough to distract Livi from frailties further back 3 - 1 Dons. Nisbet x2, Armstrong 30 yard rocket
-
Keep hearing word that Boyds attitude around and away from the club has been out of order(you wouldnt think it to look at him). So If as reported we got around £1m for him, think weve done well to get that at his age, But as said, there should be enough moments in games to blood young players more often
-
Wonder if the addition of the new boys might have lifted his game.? Hopefully gets a decent run of games in Serbia to see what he can do.Good luck to him
-
Well, were getting closer at least to a very good squad, that missing midfielder would have been nice, maybe a more scarce commodity than we'd like, hopefully have someone in our sights during the January window,in time for the title charge(assuming thats us done for now?) Cant remember ever saying...really looking forward to the Livi game
-
Turnbull at Cardiff getting a mention...
