Yep I agree with that side also. It is a side which (on paper anyway) is set up to attack and I've always said if we attack teams non stop whoever they are generally we will do a helluva lot better than when we sit back inviting pressure and attempting to counter attack. It is a difficult task without our 2 best outfield players ( If it had been this time last season I would have said our 3 best players) but quietly confident we will be in the final though it might take extra time to achieve it.
-
If he had signed a pre contract already it would have been announced. But I do agree if here were coming to us we would have had him on a pre contract already. Will likely end up somewhere like a Barnsley or Blackburn where sadly they can offer him nearly double what we can.
-
He is correct about Logan......consistently shite all season
-
Our games are set in stone as I said before.........home to sevco, Fartz and the spoonburners..........away to killie and the dhims. As I predicted over on the Hat ( and got dogs abuse for from arseholes who believed that the cheeks would play each other in the first round of games) I think they will send us to Porkheed in the first round of games as celtic still theoretically have something to play for. The SPFL will do everything they can to assist sevco to come second in the league so will not want us facing a Celtic side who are already champions and can put out a side of largely squad players. I also think we will be at home to sevco final game of league season.

Absolute shitfest, decent opening 10 minutes then utterly clueless for the next 80. In hindsight we would have been better giving the team that will start the semi a run out as Logan was back to his honking self, Shinnie was anonymous and McLean ineffective. Bad day at the office and once again McInnes' lack of tactical knowledge is exposed for everyone to see. Totally out thunk by Avril

F@ckin shite

Expecting a draw but hoping we can sneak a win 1-1 (Christie)
-
Have they really? I never saw that in yesterdays press anywhere.....
-
He is better than Wine Gums I'll give you that. Cosgrove.......maybe but who knows. So far all we have seen of him is that he could hold his own in WWE. Stockley.........nope I'd rather have Jayden thanks very much. Pretty sure he will sign for a top end League 1/lower Championship club for the thick end of a million quid in the summer. Storey.......different type of striker but yeah probably is better than him. Zola.........A street lamp would be more mobile than him Parker......... Was never interested in playing for us there were brief glimpses of talent and he has done fairly well elsewhere. I'd say on a par with Sammon. Goodwillie.......a fantastically talented player that brought around his own demise by being such an arse of a human being. never the same after the rape allegations came out. The Caravan dweller version of Goodwillie > Sammon. The version we got was Sammon's equal I'd say.
-
You better make that a full suit of armour. Connor fucking Sammon........ Id rather we signed a tin of John West Pink Salmon

Good god no. He is a flash in the pan who has come up here as an unknown quantity and is having moderate success but once all the teams have faced him they will come up with a way for their defenders to neutralise his threat and I doubt he will even get to double figures in goals scored next season. However if his predecessor Moult becomes available on loan as looks like it might do in the summer then we should definitely be looking to get him onboard. Whilst I reckon we could afford his transfer fee I really doubt we could afford his wages without breaking our self imposed top limit of around 5k/week. Id expect him to be on 7-8k/week at Preston so if we could get him in on a years loan with half his wages subsidised by PNE it would be a good deal I think. Of course if sevco do manage to offload El Buffoonalo (£4million rather than the £20million they were boasting about) then its probably immaterial as that transfer fee would pay for both Cummings and Moult and a couple of others besides.

No from me as well. Only trade off I would have accepted is if we were going to be in the cup final facing a mid to lower table team like Hearts or St J. We would then have had a decent chance of actually lifting the cup but as it is we will face either sevco or the Dhims......so it will be the Dhims then........and we all know how drastic DM is at setting up the team to face either of them. And as LA Don says, Dom Ball will be right back. I'm actually a bit disappointed he didn't get a 90 minute run out there against both Dundee and ST J given how honkingly bad Shay has been all season although to be fair to Logan in those 2 games he has seemed a bit more like his old self.
-
As with all Huns I hoped every time he took the field he would break his leg if not his neck..... However as huns go was definitely at the more educated and cultured end. As a pundit offered fair and intelligent opinions. RIP loon

Has to be Ronaldo. 2 footed, 6ft3 and if necessary could even play centre half in emergency. Just far more adaptable than Messi.
-
Great result even if Shinnie managed to crock his own team mate 10 minutes from the end (Kari). Onwards to Tynecastle, always a difficult ground for us but now optimistic. We seem to have rediscovered our form just at the right time. Stand Free!
-
And McLean!
-
Yaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssss Arnie!
-
Well started 2nd half much better, Main bullying AOC. Need to get a grip back
-
Only change from Saturday Arnason in GMS drops to bench. Need to get the 3 points tonight to establish a clear lead over sevco as I don't think we will get more that a point at Tynecastle at the weekend. COYR
-
It won't. Not at this point. They will appoint a "name" from those that do the circuits of failure at Premier/Championship clubs to appease the support in view of their impending demotion. When this as yet unappointed poor sod then drops 15 points behind the automatic promotion slots by around Dec/Jan and gets the inevitable push then McInnes will become a viable option. And I predict that if he does ever get the gig he will last 18 months max...
-
Sadly he is still probably getting a couple of grand a week more down there than he was getting with us. I know he was limited but he really wasn't as bad as a lot of folk make out, I'd certainly far rather have him as the right sided centre half alongside McKenna than AOC.
-
That is exactly what I'm saying MD.......WBA are doomed and will be in the Championship next season. When they find themselves 15 points off the automatic promotion places they will bin whoever is unlucky enough to replace Pardew. At this point (I reckon Dec/Jan) McInnes will become a viable managerial candidate.
-
Pardew binned by WBA by "mutual consent".......ie given £1million and told to fuck off to anywhere not within 50 miles of Birmingham. McInnes 12/1 with the bookies to take over. So looks like he is going to be with us for another 12 months till WBA bin whatever unlucky git who gets appointed finds himself 15 points adrift of the automatic promotion places next season......
-
Fartz not winning at half time and lucky to still be all square, Dundee been by far the better team.
-
sevco 2 down after 16 minutes  swallow swallow is a hoot
