Surprised to hear that he's jacked it in and retired from club and international football

The cynic in me could say that perhaps he should have done so pre World Cup as he didn't exactly set the heather alight.

    Thought he might have robbed a wage from LAFC for at least another couple of seasons. Would have loved him if he was Scottish but he wasn’t and never forgiven him for pumping us single handed in Cardiff in 2012.
