Winter Olympics

Like the cooler, less wanky Summer Olympics. Some top class events like that make for great viewing. Watching the Japs v Swedes in the bird's ice hockey at the minute. Great game. Didn't realise for about 5 minutes when I started watching that it was birds playing; very fast paced and some hard tackling and good skill. I like the winters like. BBC usually does some decent coverage too.

Managed to watch some the snowboarding earlier today, great effort. Saw that motd Social media jumped on the fact that the winner was called red Gerard  anyway, some insane moves.

 

Sadly the rest of the events on the slopes were called off due to weather. But caught some of the figure skating and watching the long track speed skating. Awesome entertainment

There's a girl from Torphines in the ski team, I quite enjoy watching it, not much else to do the now so it fills in some time, snow boarding is good.

Very hard done by in the women’s curling. Mental that they didn’t have a more sophisticated method of checking.

 

Woods was extremely unlucky not to pick up a medal in the ski slopestyle. Brilliant effort. Very enjoyable final.
