I don’t really follow the league so not sure how they are doing, but I know both have done well over here. They may actually be fit and fresh for the World Cup, unlike many who have run to death and are at the end of their seasons. Clarke had them in the squad before so I’m not ruling them out, but we are desperate for creativity. Clarke has done well but with his favorites and the fact we have our talent in central midfield, to get the most out of gauld, Morgan, or a few other players would require changes in personnel formation and tactics. I had seen Morgan had moved to San Diego recently but not seen him mentioned as playing. Guald is back from injury recently as saw him playing in CONCACAF Cup game. Morgan did well in previous caps so sure if he is fit he would come into consideration if fit as would Gauld. 1 Quote
OrlandoDon Posted 5 hours ago Report Posted 5 hours ago Saw an article today that says Clarke is in discussion with James tavernier playing for Scotland since he’s eligible having been here 10 years with no England call up. Don’t see it anywhere else, fake news???? Quote

Obviously, you fell for an April Fool's, but as it goes he should be eligible because the five-year residency rule exists in other countries, but the home nations pact means he isn't. Instead, he needs to have spent five years at school in Scotland to be eligible, or have at least a Scottish grandparent. Never mind, Anthony Ralston will always be available. Quote
