It was actually the point at which he stepped up as Chairman that it started to turn to shit.

Fixed that for you

Absolutely.  Bizarre to turn it on him.  It was actually the point at which he stepped down as Chairman that it started to turn to shit.

Seriously? Wow 😮

Short memory. The club was an absolute shit show when he was in charge - on and off the park. At least its only a shit show on the park these days.

We actually finished bottom of the league when he was running the show ffs.

I could spend quite sometime listing all his monumental failures and fuck ups - and I’d probably still miss a bunch - but life’s way too short.

Of course its not all his fault, but he’s still there, still on the board, still involved in decision making - why and for what?

No business I know or have ever worked with would keep someone with an abysmal record of utter failure like Milne has hanging around for 30 years.

Definition of insanity stuff…

Milne should have been fired into the North Sea, the day he told us Scottish football needed a strong and stable Rangers.

And again when he voted along with the Tims to block the once in a lifetime chance to change 11-1 voting, thus ensuring the arse cheeks will continue to run the show just how they want it ad infinitum.

The singularly most embarrassing, damaging and downright unforgivable thing anyone associated with AFC has ever done.

Oh ffs, you’ve got me started now, I’ve started listing and I’m getting angry again just thinking about that gype and all the damage he did… 😡

Go ahead. Write your list. Leave nothing out. It'll be both informative for us and cathartic for you.

I'd forgotten about the missed opportunity when rangers died. Not only failing to change the voting block but also being supportive of a new club being allowed to enter the Scottish professional football pyramid on the hurry up.

Unpardonable.

We did it years ago on Mad, I chipped in along with others like Mason.

Trust me it was some list - utterly depressing.

Not doing it again, its not cathartic in the slightest.

Seeing that cunt fired into the sun from a cannon placed on the roof of the RDS, that would be cathartic. I’d pay good money to watch that…

Maybe we have the club we deserve if we still have fans thinking Stewart Milne was good.

We’ve not had a decent chairman since Dick Donald. Both Ian Donald and then Stewart Milne were appalling. We seem to be plumbing new depths under Cormack though.

The Donalds, Anderson, Taggart and a speccy wifie in the office and that was the guts of what ran the entire club.

Despite how busy they must have been you could still chap at a wee sliding frosted glass window just inside the main stand door and ask to see their football programmes. Had various on offer from all over the UK. God knows why as they couldn't have made any profit from the sales of them.

Yes it's all a bit jumpers for goalposts and yes the game has changed a lot since then and with it the demands on clubs but still. I look back ever so fondly at those simpler times. Times when we actually won things despite the players training on the beach or in Seaton Park.

Crazy days.

Dick Donald took plenty of stick as well, but he didn't seek publicity and just ran the club diligently and prudently.

You just want a steadying hand on the tiller when things are going wrong on the field. We will never get that with an egotistical chairman like Cormack and most clubs in the same boat.

It's all the modern wankspeak roles taking a wage from the club that really boils my piss too.

Don’t hate the player, hate the game. I enjoy football less and less, the modern game is shit and we’re hurting as a result. I don’t blame cormack, we’re a much better club under him. But the team is shit at present, but we can change that. Performance changes quickly. Eg look at man utd at present.

With the current game every season is a one off, we’ve finished this one and have to build for the next. Dont see us relegated, but obviously that isn’t guaranteed.

this is modern football. Chelsea arsenal spurs Liverpool, man utd, even man city, all have significant manager and player turnover and have had their wobbles on the field in recent years. We’re no different really.

Man utd and Chelsea are good comparisons to us, both had eras of player stability and success, similar to us under Mcinnes, but when the teams aged and had squad turnover, it’s been constant manager change and a struggle to be successful.

rangers and Celtic are unstable. Celtic don’t have a good squad and don’t have a manager. They are vulnerable. Look at rangers under Martin, shit coach and shit team. How well has rohl done. But they aren’t strong. Hearts are having a great season, they were in the championship in 2021, things change and quickly. Good chance hearts lose players this summer, and possibly Mcinnes.

dark times and frustration clearly justified, but point the blame at modern football. Sadly.

So.

Yet again been found wanting. One of the worst defeats in our history and the response is radio silence.

Absolutely useless the whole lot of them. It's obviously all far too comfortable for everyone at Pittodrie.
