The album was released two weeks ago, the single, or what we class as a single nowadays, was released January 5th.  Regardless of when released through it is still a cracking tune.

This was written by her but probably best known as having been covered by Linda Ronstadt back in the mid to late seventies.

Think i'd be right in saying that these guys became kind of well known after the Tom Hardy/Joel Egderton film " Warrior " and to be fair they deserve it, they're not too bad at all.

 

If you're not afraid to go way back either, then look no further than The Everly Brothers, genuinely the greatest harmonies you'll hear! They have tons of hits and the not so well known album " Songs Our Daddy Taught Us " is basically all acoustic, some crackers in there.

 

And in keeping with the oldies, you have to check out The Hollies if you're not already familiar with them. Excellent stuff. Really wish I was about back then.

Ok, should probably be in the "What You Listening To" thread, as not new and not not exactly unheard of either, but gents I give you one of the most beautiful songs ever written with truely poignant lyrics that still strike a chord over forty years on. Never fails to move me this track, and still one of my highlights ever seeing them perform this track live. By no means the best known track from the album it was featured on but I give you all seven and half minutes of the closing track of the Hotel California album by the Eagles.
