Jeffrey Monakana

Looks like he could be a decent signing, but it's always difficult to tell from YouTube clips.  Still, welcome aboard!

Hopefully today will be the first sighting of Jeffrey in an Aberdeen shirt (excluding appearance for U20s at Elgin)  ;)

Off back to Brighton today. Wonder if we'll see another loanee in his place?

Well that was a total waste of time for everyone.

His injury in the early days can't have done him any good, as once the team went on a run it was always going to be difficult for him to get game time particularly given Del's reluctance to make any substitutions until the last ten minutes of a game.

Certainly seems to have a high opinion of his talents.

“It gave the gaffer a headache, and it came to a point now where they went into his office, and were like: ‘We need Jeff to stay to help us win the league – so drop one of us, so he can start a game.’
“But Derek McInnes was very superstitious, so he wanted to keep it the same, where I’d come on after 60 or 70 minutes. We would always win doing that, so he felt like there was no reason to change that.”
