DEREK McInnes today admitted he is still to decide who will form Aberdeen FC’s main strike partnership in the new season.

Niall McGinn, who scored 21 times last term and also grabbed nine pre-season goals, will continue as the club’s first choice hitman. But Aberdeen FC manager McInnes claimed he’s still open minded about who will partner the Northern Ireland international in Saturday’s Scottish Premiership opener against Kilmarnock at Pittodrie.

It leaves summer signing Calvin Zola – who has recovered from injury – Scott Vernon and Josh Magennis sweating it out to see who gets the nod this weekend.

RDL sold out (and looks like it will be near to that most the season, certainly it is ALL TICKET for every match)

In/oot: In

Prematcher: Due to a later train than normal probably straight to the ground

Match: New ST in the SS Section S. It better be good, they better let me stand and there better be an atmosphere (ha)

Postmatcher: Barely time to grab a carryoot before hoping onto the train

Prediction: 3-0 Dons

First Scorer: McGinn
