Aberdeen v Huns - Glasgow Based Dandies

Hi folks,

As with the Celtic game at the start of the season, there will hopefully be a good crowd of Dons fans watching Saturday’s match in The Rock on Hyndland Road in Glasgow’s West End.

There were great numbers of Dandies in for the Celtic game and I’m sure we can improve on those numbers this weekend.  It’s a good pub, never any bother, good beers on tap, serves food and has loads of screens for the football.

Please try to come along and bring any Dons supporting mates with you; the more the merrier and this will ultimately help support Glasgow’s Aberdeen Supporters football team, Red Stars FC.

So, if you can’t make it to Pittodrie on Saturday and happen to be in the Glasgow area, get yourself along to the Rock to support the Dons with your fellow Reds.

Hope to see you there.

Cheers.

Yeah, it is. No problem with that, they may ask you to sit in the "family area" though but they may not enforce that so early in the day.

Well last time I was there they were serving 15yr olds so don't think there will be a problem.

BB, I've fired an email round our mailing list about this for you (The Hun game in The Rock, not underage drinking)

Taking my 12 yr old to the cinema on Saturday, but if he was allowed in the Rock, then we'd go there first.

You're not supposed to have colours on. Only passing on the message.

Will the St Johnstone game be shown there on Monday?

Yes, it'll be on. So please get along, and all you other Dandies in the area too.  Be good to see you.

Good turn out for the hun game?  Any bother from the locals?

Not bad mate, not quite as good as the Celtic game. Out-numbered of course but there was no bother other than some clown shouthing out "fucking sheep shagging bastards" after the Naismith incident. But he was told to settle down and everyone else just keeps themselves to themselves really.
