Not wishing to be pernictiy but was it not a header Rico 😂

Does a shot have to be a foot? It probably does, you're right. Even though the stats will count headers as shots, I'd never say "great shot" when it's a header.

Dunfermline sack second manager of the season. Tidser sacked after only 11 in charge.

Is there any team that we beat in the cup that still retains their manager? Critchley must be shiteing it.

He is capable of being so unhinged, that they could potentially have the opportunity to make it four 😂

Not a surprise they have taken them from play off places to 4 points of relegation play off place. Lost 6-0 to bottom of the table Dumbarton at the weekend.

McInnes and staff his not taking Kilmarnock’s last game.

One of these instances where he's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't but would imagine most of the Killie fans would be in agreement with this.

Pretty surprised by that to be honest and wonder if they might live to regret that decision in the coming months 🤔

Wonder who they will have their eyes on

Any frontrunners spring to mind anyone ?

That's a shame, I thought that he might have turned out to be a decent manager. Wonder if he'll get the Hearts assistant's role? On one hand, it's decent of Dundee to have given him the season, but on the other, it feels like they could have then offered him the chance to have a crack at it next season. I do think that having a poor season shouldn't be enough for a manager to lose their job if at all possible (if they're not spiralling). I don't know enough about Dundee's position though.

Shaun Maloney's name being mentioned. Nailed on to be relegated next season then.

Was he not once friends with a good manager though?

Pretty much what I thought as well. From the outside would have thought keeping them up should have been enough to give him another shot next season.

Exactly fit I meant when I said I was surprised by the decision.

I like Tony Doc and wish him well.

Surely McInnes & Doc reunion at Tynecastle. To replace him? Robson's done an alright job at Raith and Dens would be a good level for him

Exactly. Unless he joins the Jambos.

They clearly had a problem defensively, but I thought - like us and St Johnstone (under Valakari) - it was because he was being too open in an attempt to be attacking and "play out from the back". Certainly, Dundee from a couple of seasons ago, played some really nice football. They lost McCowan, which was a key component of that style, and it doesn't seem unreasonable that they might have an off season whilst looking to work out a new way to play. That said, it's probably not too dissimilar to Robson with us. He played good direct football, underpinned by two relentless midfielders, but when one left he just pretended that hadn't happened and continued to do exactly the same things. Thelin can count himself very lucky that he's foreign, and announced a "project" before this season, because it strikes me that Docherty has done exactly what he has this season (not learning from mistakes). Get him back to the Dons as setpiece coach I say.

Getting rid of Doc to employ an inexperienced former Utd favourite would be tremendous banter.
