Sooooooooo Slowwwwwwwwwwwww

Why is this site so slow from certain browsers.

I had no problem on Firefox at home last night, but now at work on a much faster connection the site takes ages to upload pages (IE)?

Any ideas, settings are obviously the same as before?

I'm on IE and it's lightning quick for me - even on my 350Mhz machine.

Said elsewhere that I am finding it slow too, but I am also at work and on IE. Not tried it at home yet, so can't comment on that.

As I also said, no matter how slow it is, it's still quicker and easier for me to post on here than AFC Hat

At home again now and no problem.  What's going on ... ?

Geeks give us an answer

Are those who are finding it slow using IE6? You can check by going Help > About Internet Explorer on the toolbar.

The best solution is to NEVER USE INTERNET EXPLORER EVER! IE7 looks like they programmers got really, REALLY drunk one night and tried to program Firefox themselves. And didn't do a good job.

This is painfully slow at work who have all the latest browsers but fine here at home with my medieval PC and browser!!

I'm at work on a pretty swift connection, but like above, it seems to be really sluggish on Donstalk.

Good to see you back by the way...

I am indeed using IE 6. Do you have a solution based on this information?

I posted that more than a month ago, I'm not sure. It may have been mentioned in mods forum, I shall check. But it's also helpful to know what browsers the people who have problems are using anyway.
