Thinks the squad is exceptionally bare and ideally wants 4 players but reckons it'll be 3 realistically. The radio said originally that Mackie and Maguire were starting but neither did. Is that Maguire been on the bench for all the friendlies so far? Also sounds as though it's a 4-4-2 again, with Paton and Young wide midfield. Quote

The first team on that park was perfectly good, the tactics however were utter nonsense. They passed the ball well for the first twenty minutes, but after that they just looked lost and took ten passes to get into a position that should have only taken two or three passes. I think we had about 4 fucking shots on goal. There better be some hard work put in between now and Thursday because that was utterly disappointing and I'm not sure the boos at the end were a joke.
