Jute Posted yesterday at 15:52 Report Posted yesterday at 15:52 Approaching half time in England and as it stands West Ham going down as Spurs 1-0 up against Everton and Sunderland are getting into Europe as they are beating Chelsea and Brentford and Brighton are not winning their games against Liverpool (0-0) and Manchester United (0-2) respectively. Quote
swaddon Posted yesterday at 16:34 Report Posted yesterday at 16:34 Hammers take the lead. Spurs would have to pull off the ultimate Spursing to go down now. Quote
Jute Posted yesterday at 17:07 Report Posted yesterday at 17:07 Sunderland finish 7th and qualify for Europe one year after getting promotion to Premier league. West Ham relegated. Quote
Jupiter Posted yesterday at 17:19 Report Posted yesterday at 17:19 A very dull last day, Spurs couldn't even be Spursy. Quote
Jute Posted yesterday at 20:08 Report Posted yesterday at 20:08 Some decent football on tonight. Premier Sport has final of Argentine Apertura on Premier Sport with River currently 2-1 up on Belgrano in 2nd half. On Channel 4 YouTube it’s African Chamopns League final between AS FAR of Morocco and Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa. 2nd half about to start. Quote
Jute Posted yesterday at 20:39 Report Posted yesterday at 20:39 Belgrano come from 2-1 down with 8 minutes left to beat River 3-2 to win the Apertura title. Excellent game. Quote
swaddon Posted 14 hours ago Report Posted 14 hours ago St Mirren could make history today by becoming the first Scottish club to be relegated in the same season that they won a trophy. Good luck to them. 1 1 Quote

Panda Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago Early thoughts on the play-off final. Alex Samuel is a cheating, diving wee prick. I want him nowhere near our front line. Alex Gogic has had a horrendous first 25 minutes. I want him nowhere near our back line. Samuel & Gogic to both score now I've said that. Quote

Samuel is Curtis Main. He'd be horrendous. Nobody with eyes should be suggesting he comes anywhere near Pittodrie. Also, O'Hara doesn't make the starting lineup for St Mirren in their most important game. There's no way we should be considering him. Quote
KGB Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Having watched the first half of that match, I cant see any player who we should be interested in. Quote
RicoS321 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Stanway's been okay. A downgrade on Clarkson, but I've a feeling I'll be saying that about most midfielders we sign in the next few years. Difficult to get a good read on him, but he can spot a pass, is good in possession and gets into the box. Tony Watt about 80 times better than Samuel, and there's not way anyone would consider signing him, so I'm assuming the link was just agent pish. St Mirren play like a bottom of the bottom six team, and I don't think they've got a standout player worth looking at, even in the safe/knows the manager category. Maybe Phillips for a high press. As long as he is never allowed to take a pen. Quote
Panda Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago Hits it home how poor we are that we lost twice to this St Mirren team recently. Partick Thistle look the better team (although, they lack a goal scorer. See above criticism of Alex Samuel). Tony Watt still a decent player, he is absolutely roasting Alex Gogic on the left. Alan Campbell is also pish @OrlandoDon Quote

Have I missed something Rico, who has been suggesting that we are interested in Samuel O'Hara dropped by St Mirren because he has signed a contract with us earlier. Only kidding, haven't a clue about O'Hara Quote

Jute Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago St Mirren win 1-0. Two very poor teams on the evidence of two games in play off and wouldn’t want to touch any players from either. Sadly we will. Quote
Panda Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago That Idowu looks alright if we're nicking anyone from St Mirren. Can play centre mid or striker. Lovely close control. Quote
Jormungandr Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago Just want to say GIRUY Tony Watt - diving pr1ck Quote
