ICT -v- Aberdeen

Jimmy Calderwood spoke to RedTV at lunchtime "The injury update is that the only ones who are injured are Stuart and Tommy and they are getting on really well and I would expect them to be back training with the lads in a couple of weeks. Jamie and Bossu have been training all week but it may be a week to early for them to come back, we have another training session tomorrow so we will see how that goes and we can take it from there. Wee Sone is back and everyone else is fit, so we are getting there. I will definitely be taking Jamie with me but we'll see how it goes."

"The games that are coming up leave it all in our own hands to try and make up some points ahead of the two old firm games in January."

"Inverness have been having a tough time of it at home at the moment. Once you get yourself a series of home losses it makes it harder playing in front of your home crowd, as we know from our position earlier in the season. We have a good record against ICT but we are under no illusions and know exactly how hard it is going to be. The games between us are always good and they are always very up for it!"

"If we can win the game, then something has to give at Tynecastle and hopefully set things up nicely for next week against Hearts."

"You've got to feel for Craig and you would always want him to do well as he has been a great servant to me. He may be getting flack at the moment but I would imagine he will turn things around, given the time. All managers will come under pressure as you can see in managers down south at the moment. Next week another manager will be under scrutiny, it's just the way the game goes."

Regardless of how fit Smith is, I personally think it'd be best if we stuck with the team that's done well in recent weeks.  If anything, bring him on with 30 mins to go, but ideally keep him on the sidelines for another week or two.

Has he even played a reserve game to get his match fitness/sharpness back?  :-\
