Both deals are concluded for peanuts. Given Leveins record at unearthing good talent in the lower leagues, I would expect both players to go on and contribute to the team. •Aberdeen have no recognised left back. We have Ricky Foster who is right footed and has been converted from striker to midfielder to defender during his short career cos truth be told young Ricky is not good enough to hold down any 1 position in an SPL team. We, however, still have Ricky Fucking Foster as our first choice left back and have done fuck all to sure up a shaky defence (granted, there's still time before the season starts, but are you confident that things will improve?). The worrying thing for me is more that Calderwood cannot recognise the need for improvement in certain positions. Most notably Goalkeeper and Left Back.
