Hibernian v Aberdeen

Was the win over Motherwell a fluke or the dawn of a new era? We will see when the Robbo Roadshow pulls into Edinburgh on Saturday 19th at 3 pm.

Hibs were shite last night, but I think they will be up for this one, and I fancy a 2-2 draw.

  • The four points are a bonus in my opinion. Trust me, when you get to my age, you'll be more than happy with just the semi 😉

  • Being honest, if we’d been offered a semi & 4 points from the 3 games this week we’d have taken it, but that’s 2 points thrown away there IMO. Completely surrendered the initiative for first 15 mi

  • Ach, not the worst result. Both teams trying not to lose for the most part, quite a cagey affair. We looked like a team at times there. Think Robinson probably got the subs wrong today. I don't think

Really hoping Milne has a good game today.

Got a lot of stick last season, some deserved, but some well OTT.

Come on Jack, show you can play.

Can hardly tell the plaars apart wi this horrific strip.

Aye, 'at's fit Ah thought .... why the fuck are we nae playin' in red??

Hopefully the embarrassment of being made to wear that strip doesn't affect the players' performance too much

Personally I think the strip looks better than I thought on the day it was released

Fkn commercialism. It's bad enough playing in a change strip when there is no clash but to change into one that causes more of a clash is bonkers.

Goal! Must be the new strip.

Yasss!! 1-0 tae the Dons ... thank you BBC Scotland text ... cos ma fkn stream has crapped oot! :(

Great finish, nice move. No way was that a shot from Molloy. He faked to strike it and got his foot round it.

I've fallen in love with it over the last 20 minutes. Great strip.

Ah've nae problem wi the strip .... jist that it's too close in colour an shade tae the opposition strip .... which oor 1st strip widna be! ... it's nae jist an issue for fans, if yer a player, ye want tae see clearly far yer team mates are .... and fae a wide view.

Maks nae difference tae me for noo tho - Fawa news stream has been doon for the last 15+ minutes ... boooooo!!

That is the problem with the strip - it's bland and anonymous, I had to turn the contrast up on the telly just to watch the game

It does look marginally better but it's still rank rotten if you ask me

Really good half from the Dons. Playing exactly as you'd expect an away team to, allowing the opponent possession, and a well organised press at the right time. The midfield three have been very good, a great balance to them, and excellent ball retention (especially Marshall). Olusanya noising up their defence, which makes all the difference to Nisbet who works the spaces so well. Back three been solid, and great to see Milne and Molloy performing well in there. The two wing backs have been reasonably anonymous, but have nullified their attack very well. Wright seems to be the dangerous one for them, but we've kept him at bay for the most part.

I'd expect changes around the hour mark. Aremu probably close to a booking, and likely won't last ninety, so I'd expect Briedl on. Wouldn't be surprised to see Happe at some point, depending on Knoester's fitness.

Pretty comfortable first half.

Press, shape & discipline has been good. Aremu has run the show in the middle. Making himself available, winning & moving the ball well.

Tidy finish fae Nisgoals from a world class pass fae Molloy. No way was that a shot, no chance, no siree.

Spoon burners are here for the taking today, so would just like to see a bit more ambition and better, quicker use of the ball in the final third as a second goal here will finish them off…

Knoester dictating the game from the back. Hibs might get wise and try and press him at some point, but for now he's got the time and space to pick passes.

Only thing about our play is when we go forward, or first instance is to always go wide and we actually slow down our attack. Just drive at them through the middle.

Dare I say it, Lewis Smith would give you that.

The strip is glorious though. It reminds of the Abtrust strips which were pink when inside out (don't ask how I remember that).

This is chipper-level provocation.

Penalty them

This has been coming as we have been letting them dictate play this half

Pen tae Hibs ☹️

Shite! 1-1 🙁

Absolutely phvk all in that
