Aberdeen make the trip down the road to Dundee to take on the city's most successful club at Dens Park. It's a 3 pm kick-off on Saturday 8th August.

I think we need to improve a lot after last Saturday's win over Hearts, and I think Robinson will have the team knocked into shape during the week, so I fancy a 1-0 away win.

I actually fancy a comfortable away win 0-3 the dandies.

Looking forward to this one a lot more than I was at around 7pm yesterday. Dens is a venue I quite like going to so I’m in for this one. Hoping Nisbet keeps his run going and his success rate at Dens. With him scoring regularly our prospects are much improved. Fancy Ronan to open his account too.

Hopefully Ronan finds his groove a bit more on sat, was promising against lesser opposition, but didn’t seem to hit those heights against hearts. I’d also like to think that the result gave the team a massive shot in the arm and we can go into this fixture with confidence. Maybe yogane will turn it on against his old side?

I'd like to think Armstrong and Smith have earned starts after the Hearts game. I'm strangely more worried about the home game against them in the cup than I am about Dens Park. Think we'll win 2-0 and continue the title charge.

Possibly. I have concerns about Briedl. Looks very good on the ball and a nice player, but I thought the last couple of games passed him by. As in, they were too quick for him and he let opponents past him, whilst not keeping up with it at the other end. Could just be because he was a sub I suppose, so no better way to find out than starting him. Armstrong, Aremu, Briedl doesn't quite seem right though. I think Armstrong is better with two guys doing the running alongside. I don't think Briedl is one of those.

I thought Roman was poor against hearts 2bh. He huffed and puffed but it just wasn't working for him. Even his set pieces were huff and he's normally very reliable there. Armstrong was far more effective when he came on.

I thought he did well when he came on against hearts but that was the first time I've got a proper look at him.

The only mention I expect to hear about Ante is his transfer out of the club at the moment.

Well we'll find out soon as it's Aremu, Briedl and Armstrong in midfield. I should balance my previous point by saying that my first impressions of Briedl were that he looked a proper player, but that was also from the bench. Hopefully he gets a chance to settle into a game today and not have to get up to the pace immediately.
