Aberdeen v St Mirren

It's off to Pittodrie again for Robinson's Resurgent Reds as they try to finish above the pikey scumbags.

The game is definitely not being played in Paisley. It starts at 7:45 pm on Tuesday.

I predict a 2-0 win for the home side.

You think they'll be showing the Scottish league cup games in ICE detention centres?

I'm happy for them to go down as they have been our bogey team, particularly in Paisley, for about 5 years now

After booing Stephen Robinson on his Paisley return, mocking him after the game, and some claiming he was faking them down - a win for Robinson's Aberdeen on Tuesday would confirm St Mirren's place in the play-off. It might be confirmed anyway if Killie beat Dundee.

I want St Mirren to go down. Firstly, it'd be good to have a 'fresh' team come up in Partick Thistle or Dunfermline.

But also, we could do without a fired up St Mirren - their support at least - trying to stick it to Robinson next season.

Their early manager bounce has gone. Injuries are taking their toll. A naive manager trying to play football when they need to grind out results (something we may have been trying g to do had Thelin/Leven been in charge still). Would like to think we'll go for the throat on Tuesday now that our tails are up a wee bit.

3 clean sheets on the bounce at home. Robinson undefeated at Pittodrie. What’s not to like. Get them pumped.

Are you asking for you, or the entire BBC?

Last home game of another eventful season for Aberdeen FC.

It's never dull.

We have to win this one for Robinson and to have a chance of the much esteemed bottom six trophy.  To finish above the caravan dwellers, considering how shit we have been, would add to the already massive chips they cart around on their shoulders.

Killie all day and everyday to go down for me, but looks like St Mirren are doing their best to win the play off spot and we will compound their misery on Tuesday night.

I don't think they will go down through the play offs though, just a feeling.

We're all getting replaced by AI soon anyway.

I might replace myself with AI on this forum.

Last home game of a very very disappointing season, but we are a wee bit better now than we have been for some time.

Finish off at home with a comfortable 3-0 thumping of St Midden (Nisbet with all three)

COYR make it happen

SF

Hope we pump them for 4 or 5 and condemn them to the relegation play-off place. Would be quite happy for them to be replaced with Thistle or Dunfermline.

Frame and Nicky (if fit enough) in from the start please.

Suman (who was on the bench v United) potentially starting on Tuesday?

I'd like to see some young 'uns getting a game on Tuesday.

I presume they are all back from their loans out to lower league teams?

Was told this morning that Mitov was boarding a flight at Aberdeen Airport.

Hopefully both back fit and raring to go and get to see Suman play.

Lazetic has gone back home due to family reasons. Won't play on Tuesday and Robinson thinks it's unlikely he'll play Sunday.

Geiger and Jensen both doubts.

Armstrong's surgery is because of "breathing problems". Mitov has had a groin issue for months which has affected his kicking, says Robinson. Might explain some wayward passes.

Robinsons pressers are good value I have to say.  He is quite an engaging guy when he gets going and can surprise you with some of his answers.

It wil be interesting to see who starts this one and, indeed, to see what formation he goes with now the pressure off.

He’s a likeable guy. I also like his emotion, certainly gets into games. At the same time, I don’t feel we’ve just been huff and puff win at all costs regardless of play. Really curious to see what we do the last two games, the type of players we sign, and how we start next season. Wonder if there’s more to him than we thought.

agreed on all counts, maybe he will prove to be inspired business yet....

He'll probably be fired before Christmas

So, Marshall can't play, but the ICT development lads can? Or can Marshall play because the contract would have ended with Arbroath? I'm guessing neither Stewart or Bavidge will feature.

We are clearly not going to test out anything new these games. Systems or personnel.

Doesn't look like it from that line up - Nisbet to get a hat-trick and a standing ovation for Shinnie when he comes on as a sub

Would have liked to have seen Lobban and Frame getting minutes. Probably good to get Gyamfi more settled too, always forget he’s a youngster.

You’ve given the lad the kiss of death there. Replaced by Frame before kick off.
